Scotty will always be my favourite rider. Not just because of his skill and originality but because of his over all personality. It's amazing how fast he recovered from his injury. It just shows how mentally and physical strong/capable he really is.

I would like to say to Scotty and the entire crew that you guys have given me the motivation to ride as much as I can. I ride with a bike made from scraps that I have to refill tires with air every 30 minutes. It gets frustrating but I have seen that no matter how hard it gets if you love doing something no obstacle can stop you. Thank you guys so much.

Thanks Scotty for this video. I found your channel a few weeks after your crash. I was caregiver for my elderly mom that stroked. Each new video Big Boy did I’d tell my mom about your progress. At times mom would ask how you was doing. I’m a survivor 2-28-1988 I had two brain aneurysms one had ruptured 10 days after surgery I had a stroke. Next Friday will be one year that mom passed. She’s still watching I honestly believe that. You’ve come so far #StandWithScotty forever

As someone who had a accident similar to Scott, talking about the past like that can help settle the depression of doing said activities. It kinda makes you feel proud of the achievements you have pulled off and kinda settles the "New trick" urge. No, my accident didn't involve my skull being removed, not am I a professional at a said sport, but looking back on things really helps the depression. It's like grandparents talking about war stories, reminiscent of the achievements and horrors you had to overcome.

Scotty you’ve been my favorite rider since your sentenced to life video. That changed the way how i looked at bmx and how fun it should be. You truly are a living legend in the sport. Thank you for everything you do for it.

Don't think that just because you are not at the same level you use to be, just remember you are on a different level. It was hard watching you while going through the recovery you had people waiting for every upload to show the support and even if you can't get back to what you were or progress, we still need you to talk us through BMX. It's your life. Become Scotty 2.0 where you still inspire everyone else. I know it's hard to think about, but you push people, you inspire, you motivate people and you got a ton of us that got your back. If you can stick out your chest in a video or two of some of the reasons why we loved you along the way, you can make it 10x better by pushing us. Mad respect to OBB, without Scotty he might have not made it as far and I wish I had a friend like that.

Scotty, don't ever feel it's bragging when you talk about how you accomplished your tricks. Like kid rock said in one of his songs, "it ain't braggin' if you can back it up." I want to start showing my vids on KZfaq but I feel intimidated. First I'm not young, I'm old when it comes to sports, plus I'm a female rider and yes I see there are more female riders now, but nonetheless I still feel intimidated by the amazing talent out there and I'm average at best. If anyone has suggestions as to how I can overcome my timidness feel free to leave comments. And ya if Scotty and his crew know any female riders it would be really cool if you could invite one to do a vid with you guys. Thanks..and Scotty you really are looking better everyday. I know little about the sport you are so passionate about and videos like this, for me, are amazing. I can confidently say that Scotty truly changed the world of bmx and made it to what it is today, he’s good at riding park and street. He took his brand name to heart cause in all the years of riding he never thought “man I can’t do this” he pushed through and didn’t slow down for anything even after his accident. Scotty Cranmer is the best to ever do it, even in 80 years from now cause just like you cant think of bmx without thinking of Dave mirra you can’t think of a well a rounded rider without thinking of Scotty Cranmer.

Scott, you should do more of these videos you should be so proud of what you have achieved and nobody thinks for one second that you are blowing your own trumpet. Those tricks were insane, especially the tyre tap to front flip, defies the laws of physics.

Please do more of these. Watching the tricks is one thing but was I love most is the mindset behind them. Recently rediscovered my love for aggressive inline and i'm just starting to feel comfortable again. Nothing feels better than that landing that one trick you need to sit and think about because it shouldn't be possible.
