My magnetic tray can hold on a 180degree angle...😐 and cost nothing compared to that! Just use painters tape on the bottom side of the magnets to prevent scratches from metal debris stuck to the magnets.

Okay mold release is believable. But he stated it ain't worth 60 smackeroos. Who would pay 60 bucks when magnetic metal ones are a couple bucks. But the possibility of having enough mold release left on them to wax your car with would save you about nada.

Sttooopp.... I have one - did nobody see the plume of dirt the mat was thrown on? All that dirt, dust and grit and then we throw it in a dirty dusty hood. It gripped to the dirt and grit and slid on it. The thing works great and sorry Scotty but not everything is magnetic including the parts you put on it or the aluminum in most engine bays.

I was about to purchase one but thanks Scotty I might just get a knock off version of the grypmat hahhahaha

He put it on a dusty dirty engine cover first. That is why it didn’t grip. I just got a whole set of them for my birthday and the will grip to a clean surface as stated. You can use solvents in them like brake cleaner without damage. I can’t use the magnetic trays on painted surfaces because they are constantly collecting bits of iron from off the cement and small chunks of metal from wire wheels and such. Pain the butt to constantly clean.

If it had a place for Scotty to put his beer he’d be all over it. 😜
