Dear Mr. Kilmer I bought a used car, fiat ulysse 2.0 jtd.s 2000. year and maybe it has problem with dashboard or with something else. At first the dashboard was showing wrong fuel level and temperature. Now the rpm gauge isn't working. Only the speedometer is working properly. The car have digital mileage gauge and it also isn't working, it's blank, no signs of life. What kind of problem can be? Do I need to buy a new dashboard?. Thanks.

My speedometer stopped working in my 1984 El Camino. I looked under my car and can see a wire kind of hanging down a bit, could that be it loose or something?

far as I'm concerned, all saabs belong in a junkyard, the company recently went bankrupt and no one wants to buy them. Ignition takes place with individual ignition coils placed on the spark plug concerned. The plug together with the ignition coil and CDM are used to detect combustion and any knocking. This means that neither a camshaft sensor nor a separate knock sensor are required. Over engineering to the max.

Hey Scotty, the speedometer on my 94 Acura legend isn't stuck. Its going crazy I could be going 30-40 MPH and it will show 100-110 MPH. and sometimes don't work at all. Also when I shift to drive the light on D4 will start flashing after few seconds. and it will stay flashing even if I shift to N or P or even D3. What would you advice me to do. Thanks in advance

scotty my speedometer stays on zero until it hit around 60 and than it starts to work fine. could it be the sensor?

Mr. Scott I have a 1994 Volvo 940 4 door. Whenever I take it out for a spit it drives well at the beginning it changes gears or shifts to all the way to 40 mph then if I go to the highway certainly I will have to go more faster like 60 mph but the thing is that it doesn't change gears the rpm says that its in 4 or 4 1/2 when I hit 65 mph and I was just wondering if you have any clues what could it be to fix that problem to make the gears change so the car will go 65 mph without any hesitation?

Hey Scott: Well I drive a 83 Buick Regal. Im fixing it up myself. My speedometer didn't work at first but my dad "fixed it". But when I drive the needle just keeps bobbing up and down and I cant tell what speed Im going. Is the cable too long or did he just wire it wrong?

I have a 00 ford escort ZX2 with a fluctuating speedometer, it often turns completely off and fluctuates when on the high way. I also got a P0500 code. do you think it's the VSS?

the tach itself generally breaks in the dash unit, they cost a ton, leave it. But the speedo works off a cable on most 93s, so check the speedo cable, it's probably broken.
