Let's go Beasty!

This was exactly what I was hoping to see one from of the top players.... this helps us low / intermediate players so much! Another guide (or guides depending if you think its more than 1 vid) I would really hope to see would be map / civ strategy and meta. For example if you take each map and talk about what is typically considered the strongest civ for that map and the most likely meta strategy they do, and then 1-2 decent options for civs and strategies to counter pick them and how to handle those. It would also be a good idea to get an overview of what type of general strategy to go for on each map too (obviously its a REAL TIME strategy game which implies needing to adapt in real time, but it helps us noobs to have a general idea.... "oh its a map with a river on it... i want to be making a dock by x time... and another dock if & when x.... or if you see your opponent doing x on this map it means x. This type of thing. It might take a long time to talk about all the maps and ideal civs for those, plus possible strategies to go for on them, so it might be necessary to break it in to like... open land map, closed land map, river map, ocean map so then it would be 4 separate videos about a few different maps each... up to you!

I think scouting is probably my biggest weakness and I lost sooo many games because of it (especially in the beginning when I was totally new to the game). So this video was really helpful! Thank you beasty!

Really good guide on one of the universal necessities of this game. I love seeing the basics before I start learning about specific build order and civ counters etc.

fantastic vid :) is it ever worth it to make your second scout right away from TC as rus, or do you always wait for the hunting cabin to add 1-2 extra scouts?

Great Vid, thanks! How do you counter the afk scout? Just put a tower down?

This has upped my Scout game! There wasn't much there to begin with, though lol. I find myself confused on when I should be upgrading units either from their production building or Blacksmith. Do I get them as soon as I can afford them? Hold off until I see my units dieing too fast?

I think army composition guides would be great. If you could take us through one of your games and point out things like "I built 6 spearmen and here is why (why around 6 and with what goal in mind) etc. Thanks for the scouting guide!

When do you actually make the 2nd scout? In most build order they mention how many villagers on what resource but dont mention when to make the scout. So as a new player I most of the time forget to make extra scout trying to follow build order. Like for example if i were to play HRE and wanted to make another scout, when do i make it?

I'm sitting at a solid 7 apm, any specific advice you got for me?

In your chinese build you made a 2nd scout as well.

@BeastyqtSC2 Does this video is relevant in 7 season? I dont see that players do 2 scouts, only one. May be u use 2 scouts against Rus, because you can kill dears and wolfs to prevent bounty on Rus side
