SCP 001 is based on a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Gate Opens.
SCP-001 is a smooth, black, perfectly ellipsoidal onyx gemstone with a mottled white pattern.
SCP001 continuously emits a small quantity (~34.5007 to 34.5010 mW) of thermal radiation in the microwave range. As a result, the gold filigree is warm to the touch. The white mottled areas emit fractionally more radiation than the black onyx areas.

It is said that SCP 999 should be able to vanquish his father once and for all, but personally, I doubt it would be much of a "fight". Either the battle would be over the second 999 made contact with 001, as his positive energy nullified the Scarlet King's rage, and therefore his power, or the battle would be a more indirect one, where 999's power continues to expand and grow, filling the world with peace and happiness, thereby causing 001 to simply cease to exist, as all the discord and chaos he's made of dissipates. Remember, by definition 999 is a being of peace, so by definition it would probably not engage in combat, plus the Scarlet King is impervious to physical confrontation (Remember that Montauk's protocol to contain the King's final bride was effective solely because of the emotion behind the action, rather than the action itself).

I really would be interested to see what happened after the admistrator talked to the world enders. I wonder if we will continue after that point since this ep sorta focused on the whole set up from the SCP foundation perspective rather than the world enders like last episode. If so, I can only imagine the SCP foundation using what ever anomalous trick in the book to beat them. Though it would be cool to have a record of ragnorok battle with differet SCP's against the world enders lol. I also wonder if the Scarlet king will get involved and act as a 3rd party, yes to destroying the world, but also the other world enders since he just wants to wipe out anything and everything period.

@@MoosedUp Mostly because the series started in 2012 and has been inactive for the longest time, out of the original 4 authors, one has quit and the other 3 have been working on various irl things and the Resurrection series, even that only got a recent page update with different places for splinter canons. Needless to say, unless SCP Explained is able to attract enough attention for this 7 years inactive project, the main story aint gonna be able to continue.

I was kind of disappointed honestly. Her declaration in the last video was epic, and implied they had weapons perfectly capable of containing or neutralizing any hostile gods, but we don't get to see that here.

If absolutely every end of the world scenario happens at once it would be crazy cause we'd have 343 with 035, 173 multiplying, 096s face being leaked, several disease outbreaks, when day breaks, all the ones in this video and more like the scarlet king being unleashed, the devourer of worlds escaping, containment breaches all over practically causing 5000

I don't know if that would be enough. The Children are powerful, but they're up against countless beings of nigh-omnipotence, and they'd have to be able to defeat every last one of them WITHOUT destroying reality or the Earth as well. The Leviathans coming towards Earth do not have that concern to deal with. The Children would make a great first line of defense, but I suspect eventually they would be overwhelmed.

@@combak2712 Nah, this is based on the Competitive Eschatology Hub, the format of the videos seem to follow the chronological timeline of the tales, nothing is wrong except for the fact that the series hasnt had an update for about 7 years now if Im correct, if Im wrong it still doesnt matter since its incomplete either way

As always, an amazing video, well explained, and absolutely terrifying. My favorite bit was when monsters came from "behind the rain", since to me, that resonated as the most foreboding example of a truly unfathomable horror, since it meant that to these creatures, reality was simply not relevant the way it is to us; they could rip into our universe and tear its fabric into ribbons with a wave of their hand. My second favorite was when the sky stared back. Quick question: I know this is based on The Lock (I think it would cool if it were called "The Celestial Lock", since it has the known universe etched onto its surface), but I wanted to ask: Is this tale an original, or did someone expand upon the idea of The Lock in the wiki?

Here's a simple solution. Just have Dr. King's face broadcast around the entire Earth and watch as every anomaly turns into apples. Day 202 of asking the O5 to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.
