Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Euclid Class object, SCP-027 The Vermin God Animation.
SCP-027 appears to be a phenomenon of unknown source that seems to be tied to one human subject at a time. As host to SCP 027, the subject is constantly surrounded by swarming vermin that are drawn to his location. The subject hosting SCP027 does not appear able to assert control over these creatures in any way, and is in fact prone to occasional attacks from feral specimens. These creatures have also been known to attack personnel who approach too closely.

I think Dr. Bob is an scp, His anomaly is that any scp he talks about affects him, but cannot do so in a lasting manner, after a specific amount of time, for an unknown reason, he is restored to peak condition.

This was one of the early scp anomalies I've seen and one of the most horrific and a very classical one, a small scale weird unexplained terrifying thing that simply is.

It's most recent "target", seems to be reasonably clean, so, that DOESN'T seem to be the case. It seems to be, the last person the current possessor of this entity/effect is the next victim, regardless of personal cleanliness, or, lack thereof! Hey Dr. Bob! Loved the video as always. My favorite SCP of all time is SCP 2696. I don't ever hear anyone talk about it despite how interesting it is and the lore behind it as well. The introductory segment about thos SCP made my blood run cold. But the fact that this phenomenon acts as a necrosis accelerant, is very disturbing. The victim is literally being eaten alive. To me, its sounds like this phenomeon only responds to proximity between two hosts, living or dead. Regardless, great work doc

Here's a theory. SCP-027 is like a disease, but the symptoms are a scent that can be smelled by vermin(rats, flies, gnats, etc.) and causes them to swarm the individual with the smell and attack, and when the person with the disease is killed(either by starvation, dehydration, or something else, such as the vermin killing the host), it passes over to the nearest individual at the time. The "waves" is the scent reaching more and more vermin, being produced by the host and can only be smelled by vermin.
