SCP-1730 is a large complex of structures 15km northwest of the US/Mexico border within Big Bend Ranch State Park that was discovered on June 5th, [redacted]. Due to the isolated nature of the complex, and the low survival rate of individuals who come in contact with it, it is possible that SCP-1730 had been previously discovered but unreported.

Yeah, that was poorly animated. If you read the actual article it wasn't 2 VS 1. The Deer from Jupiter and the Gate Guardian hated each other too. So it was more 1 VS 1 VS 1; with all three simultaneously trying to kill the others. The humans barely escaped with their lives since the OP anomalies were more than happy to use area-affects in their battle. It was a bloodbath.

@@Ripjawismad It isn't. The thresher didn't destroy it. It actually exists. Just not in our local reality. It's still roaming free in Space-Time. And the anomalies there still exist. They just aren't in our local reality anymore. Plus, Emerson and some other facility personnel still exist there, but the facility personnel were saved MUCH, Much Later by MTF Omega-12 "Achilles' Heels".

HP lovecraft loved the idea of gazing upon the truth of the infinite and going insane. deadly memes isn't really new, but I can see how it would be cringe considering that there are more appropriate etymological words for them written prior to internet slang.

What Emerson’s Foundation was doing was kinda messed up as we know there are “good” SCPs, but sympathy for the dangerous unknown always bites back, it’s always that one dumbass doctor who doesn’t follow the rule of “don’t get sympathetic or empathetic with the SCP” and it ultimately gets people killed

The don't get sympathetic thing mainly applies to GOC. The Foundation is not cruel where it does not need to be. I can think of 4 SCPs off the top of my head that require child sacrifice, but only to keep something even worse from happening. In all of those cases, the people working on it all know the stakes. If any of those 4 are not contained, then we get mass casualties. I'm talking hundreds to hundreds of millions of deaths. Every single person working these SCPs have the option of being administered amnesiacs and reassignment. They forget all about it and continue their work for the foundation with clean consciences.

After the careful detail of the first video, this sequel, with all the details in it seemed a bit rushed. It wasn't explained in the last video for example, that Emersons body was strapped to the disk, or what the Thresher was or where it came from. Really felt like this could've been a 3-parter.
