Күн бұрын

SCP 5007 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as Bass Strait.
SCP-5007 is the collective designation of malicious, partially-humanoid entities that maintain a territory across the Bass Strait that are responsible for a string of disappearances within this range.
SCP5007 will move towards the shore, stalking the intended victim for a short time before lowering numerous tentacles and appendages to physically grab the individual.

Just to comfort people with a fear of the ocean, “Explore” means that we’ve thrown people or cameras down there for some reason. The reason we’ve only explored 20-ish % is because a whole lot of the ocean is (get this) water and sand. Like there’s literally nothing and so there’s no reason to “explore” it. Basically it’s not like you’re going to abruptly stumble upon the megalodon or something while on a cruise. Most of the things we haven’t discovered in the sea are small/native ti the midnight zone/cave dwellers. Hope that can be a little comforting

I wouldnt say 80% of the ocean is "completely unmapped and unobserved by science" the reason we don't go down there to explore is because we already have satellite image mapping of the ocean floor and we have a really good idea of what is actually down there and it'd be expensive and fruitless to send anything down

speaking of Harold Holt, do a video on SCP-3477, an SCP that is a group of Harold Holts also, by the looks of stewart and holt, I think your animation dudes mixed them up, since stewart looks more like holt than holt does. that or they've never seen a photo of Harold Holt in their lives
