If you get spotted just shoot out the cameras before retreating to heal and taking care of the guards.

i got a last room hint. in the very VERY last obstacle, which is a camera that you stand in one place blocking it, in order to avoid less risk, wait for the camera to go to the other side.

I had my game set to lower graphics to reduce lag. I believe it also reduces shadow effects.
