The different "Scrabble!" audience chant makes me wonder if these early episodes had an actual audience or if they taped without a studio audience and used a pre-recorded audience chant?

It was reported in the October 1986 issue of TV Game SHow Magazine that Scrabble only did these two college weeks, right when they first started, because the players didn't look too much different from the adult contestants. They would have another $55,500 winner in a couple of weeks with Mark Dauberman, and they'd had one two weeks earlier with ANnie McCormick.
