Not sure if it was intentional, but saying the extra letter out loud might have helped him remember what else was left in the puzzle. It didn't really slow him down! Thanks for posting all these Scrabble episodes, I used to love watching them!

What if they had 4 colored squares like on the actual Scrabble game? So if a contestant gets one of those squares: Light blue still worth $500 (no difference there) Dark blue worth $1,000 (instead of pink squares) Pink worth $1,500 (instead of $1,000) Red worth $2,000 (the highest amount) Wouldn't that be something?

I can't thank you enough for the lost airdates, usually if it's Network I can sometimes get them, but USA, not so much, I hope you can find out The whole run, "How did you get The NBC airdates anyway?"

"Do you do these by seeing who the players were?" that's how I try to do it, Chuck's Birthday in March was easy for 1989, as long as you know who the winner and next players were leaving off for the next show

Chuck forgot to give Eddie his $500 for getting "Catnap". At 15:34, the T appears in the blue square and Eddie hits his buzzer and correctly guesses the word. For that, he should've gotten $500.

There was definitely an edit between Eddie’s answer and Chuck saying he was correct. Not sure the reason for it, but it’s likely they forgot about the blue square during the stopdown.

No. $3,000 in Bonus Money. If and only if all three words that you won had pink bonus squares that you hit and won on.
