For a show that broadcasted back in 1986, the sound quality is pretty impressive!

Actually I went on to max out at $40k, then came back for the tournament of champions and beat 13 of 20 champions in a row, I think. The fourteenth had a time of, I believe, 9 seconds. He won the tournament. My niece found this video and played it to embarrass me at Thanksgiving. Scott

Hopefully for Scrabble's 75th Anniversary in 2023 (or the TV version's 40th in 2024), BUZZR or someone else could FINALLY get to show these episodes again. "MCENRO_" shows that the lousy guesses go way before we get those viral missolves on Chuck's former show that's still on the air now. That second Sprint was incredible. It can be amazing how you can instantly or quickly get some words, while others appear until the last letter given that interpreting the clues can give off different reactions, and that's part of what makes this a fun show to still watch now. Still, in that one situation where Chuck absolutely mentioned Stopper after that R was called, that should have been a warning to guess the word and then passing the stopper to her opponent.

This is an April 1986 episode of the American TV show "Scrabble" (based on that same-titled board game). On this episode, Suzie plays against Jake, & then it's Karen vs Glen; it'll determine which winner will join Scott later in the Scrabble Sprint round. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲

16:19 They should have trolled him and Chuck by placing the 'E' at the end first. Chuck: "Awww, you guys are really gonna make him do this, aren't you??"
