This event commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the world's first-ever ''scramble'' that was staged on land off The Maultway, Camberley in March of 1924, that gave birth to the sport of ''motocross'' as we now call it. That event was the first of what continues as the 'Southern Scott'.
On Sunday the 24th March 2024, on the same land as the original event, the Witley Motor Cycle Club (and the notionally revived Camberley & District Motor Club) have recreated the event as a on-off commemoration of the original event.
This is Part 1 of 3 videos of the event and is a 'Pit Walkaround'. Enjoy fifteen minutes of lusting over the iconic machines - modern, old, and very old - whilst they're clean and still in one piece!
Best viewed in 1080p50 quality setting for sharper viewing on your TV (KZfaq like dumbing down the quality).
