I don't have a laminating machine but I do find rolls of clear Contact paper at the thrift store. I use that in place of lamination and it works fine. These ideas are great for using up scraps and dried flowers at the same time. I have oodles of almost-finished clusters just waiting for a focal point and now you have definitely inspired me to finish them. TFS!

I dont make journals but use the scraps in making collage greeting cards. I did make myself a rule in Jan that I wasn't going to save anything smaller than 2x2 inches. I also stopped saving paper unless its really special until I use up most of what I already have. I was drowning in paper. Anytime I can use scraps and not waste I feel good about it.

For having scraps at home so pretty, one has to be really creative. Nothing at your home is un-aesthetic!

I'm only 3 minutes in, but I'm loving this idea of laminating my flowers. Also, I have stickers that look like real pressed flowers and I don't really like using them. You gave me an idea today to laminate them as though they are real pressed flowers and then using them the same way you did. Thank you for the inspiration!

For anyone who doesn't have a laminator: there are Cold-seal pouches available online and at some stationery shops (designed for ID badges) that are about 4 inches x 3 inches - perfect for small floweres etc.
