Dafür kann man alle Arten von Garn verwenden. Wenn ich Reste vom Stricken oder Häkeln habe, dann sammel ich diese und verwende ich sie auch für solche Stickarbeiten. Ist die Wolle zu dick, dann kann ich sie auch teilen. Ansonsten einfaches Stickgarn, welches bei Bedarf auch doppelt oder 3-fach genommen wird 😊😊😊

It would get very bulky and hard to stitch through as you begin adding fabric to the already sewn on fabric. For me, when hand sewing bulky is not my friend.

This is kawandi style quilting ,I’ve done both ,cut and not cut…..the only difference is if you don’t anchor the excess fabric it will move when you wash it,so either you anchor with a stitch or you trim before sewing.

Also she can still use most of those for another project! I've watched her for years. She uses the tiniest pieces. ❤
