Hello, everyone and welcome to my channel. It's been a very rough week back from vacation and we had an emergency in the family, but I still have to go out and make this money. I would much rather be spending time with my family, but I have to keep pushing along. And start cleaning up some of this scrap metal that has been laying around for a while.. Took 2 loads in today. Got another load to take in tomorrow as well as a washer, dryer, and a fridge to get tomorrow. Edit: I had a tumor removed which was causing seizures when I was 6-7 years old and I'm 24 now. I know how crazy and worrying it is. Very sorry for your daughter mike. Hopefully she will get through it. Nonetheless, you are the bomb man. Love every clip I watch.

I understand that you need to take time for your family and not on KZfaq video. I have my own channel now and I posted a video on my run this past Saturday and I get .0725 per pound for tin shred. I cut off the guard then hit the valve with a hammer to unscrew it. One scrap yard where I live pays #1 for tanks. I also use propane instead of accetylne for my cutting torches. It's more effient and free. I get enough propne tanks from scrapping that I haven't bought propane in almost twenty years.

Be very careful with those propane tanks. Exchange them for new full ones for like 25 bucks a piece. Scrap yards don't like them. Too dangerous!

A guy near me takes the stainless steel washer drums out and sell them for 50 bucks each for fire pits

First.. prayers for your daughter and family sir. I hope everything comes out good in the situation. Second, you were mentioning the guys coming in the scrap yard with junky trucks and trailers. We have them here too. One in particular that was way beyond bad all the time. Little S10 that shouldnt have been on the road itself, a trailer like your smaller one, no lights or nothing, not even a plug on the truck. Always coming in with tons of crap hanging off the sides, losing stuff going down the road. I always left him be until one day he got mouthy with me in the yard. I made a call to a couple personal friends who happen to be local cops...they met him on the scale and imponded his whole rig and arrested him. Had a warrant, no license, no insurance and they found a bag of pills in his truck. Havent seen him since....lol.

I can't tell you how many times I see. People that are just absolute tweakers. At the scrapyard, no inspection stickers on anything. And trucks that shouldn't even be on the road.. Every day I see sketchy shit..

Geez that price of shred. I cash mine in. But my trailer is not as long as yours. But using metal bed rails as walls on my trailer. But i got maybe about 1600 pounds of shred on my truck. I came out 120 bucks from one of Texas Scrap yard.

I get so much of it. I cannot hold it. Usually in the summer. I fill a trailer load like that every day or two..

@@Adventureswithmike1 I have the same problem. And I am getting enough metal , from my HVAC contract, from my Neihbor hood Tire shop, And scrap pick up calls. My problem is all my Scrap yards Is 1 hour drive now matter what I do. I miss the old US 281 scrap yard In bulverde Tx. That was like 20 min drive. But greedy land owner Decided to burn the company by jacking up the value of land and cant work nothing out. All that for a stupid short cut to a Neiborhood So back to square 1.

Sell the propane tanks don’t scrap them. I make $20 off each one when I exchange them for a nice new shiny one and I saw on Facebook marketplace for 40.

@supermanclarkkentsr4667 Obviously.You have no idea the value of scrap meta. I usually average between 10 and 20000 dollars a month. Check out some of my other videos and you'll see. What can actually be made if you put the work in.
