Absolutely cool video. Super impressed with your scrapping venture. I go scrapping on a bike, yes a bicycle. And, I think you'd be v. surprised at the quantities of copper cable that I can accumulate. And it's all free. I strip the plugs as well and here in Ireland the plug pins are the really big chunky ones, so there's value there as well. And yeah, seriously impressed with your scrapping venture there. Liked and subbed.

I used to scrap back when I was unemployed in the early 80's and I had A lot of people come out to the curb and ask if I wanted to take some stuff out of the garage or shed . They had lots of heavy shit that they couldn't carry to the curb. Several times I was asked for my number so they could get A hold of me if the found more junk. I had some cheap business cards made up. Got A lot of junk that way. I got A full time gig with A major mid west city building maintenance department so I gave up the scrap life but I did get A lot of stuff off the job sites I worked at and gave it to scrappers I know. I retired 2 years ago but might go scrapping again if I run out of things to do. Good luck and I hope you find some killer hauls out there! P.S. I subbed to your channel. At 65 I might be one of your oldest fans.

tried scrapping plastic,that ABS plastic from flatscreen TVs and monitior boxes,got maybe 8 cents a pound.which is good but it takes up more room for half the price 40 a truckload for plastic compared to up to 100 or more in steel and double that or more in non ferrous.e waste is good you can make good money with it but not everyday.

A lone fellow like yourself needs a regular cab long box truck, you'll haul more with a long box truck than with your extended cab shortbox truck. I always used GM trucks, less breakdowns, cheaper to run than any other truck.

Do you ever scrap Plastic? I live out in the West Coast, plastic bottles are like $1.07 lb, they also buy Plastic ewaste and household materials, for like 57 cents lb... and all that adds up!

I used to see dudes hittin up those giant dumpsters for easy truckloads of shit downtown where they were renovating skyscrapers. They would throw out even new shit sometimes. It's crazy.

Those hard drive discs (actually called platters) are generally sheet aluminum... They sell well on eBay because people use them for arts and crafts... Save em up and try selling, if not, scrap aluminum
