I got really lucky at my local Michaels I found my melting pot for $8. And all the utee and colors were on clearance as well. I would take a look at your local craft store.

I'm not sure what it is made of. You can use something that is safe at high temps. Foil would get really hot. Not sure if parchment paper would work.

ScrapTimeVideos IT'S A NON-STICK CRAFT MAT. YOU CAN PURCHASE FROM ANY CRAFTER AND EVEN AMAZON HAS GENERIC SHEETS AVAILABLE. YOU WOULS HAVE TO CUT YOUR OWN UNTIL RANGER brings them out.

What is the craft sheet made of. I saw them for sale at Hobby Lobby but way too spendy for me. Can I use something else for a liner that is safe to use with my melting pot?

I ask a question a few weeks or so ago no one answer my question as of yet, anyway found out myself that Michael's Jo-Joanne's Hobby Lobby do not carry the melting pot anymore! You Can order on line which I was hoping would not have to! It's a Great product be good if you it came back into the craft stores again!

Sorry - normally I answer questions fairly quickly. When it comes to finding a product online I always check Simon Says Stamp and Scrapbook.com first. When it comes to Ranger products especially. I live in Canada so I do not know what your craft stores carry. We only have Michaels here and their selection isn't the greatest.

I like very much the idea, but I´d like to know if it´s resistant. Don´t need to apply some protection? If use some recycled metal this can act as a protection? Or I still need to seal it. Thanks a lot.

If you were going to wear it as jewelry you could seal it. Vintaj has a jewelry grade glaze that would seal it.

Can you use frit or enamel powder to do this in your melting pot? What temp does it get?

I would contact Ranger directly. I am not familiar with those products.

This is not enamelling. Enamelling happens at 1500 degrees and is done with real vitreous enamel. This is not the same thing at all.
