I did use a chunk of it on a recent page but I just used it as a regular layer with an unusual edge so it does have a very different feel. The video should be on my channel soon.

Hi, I bought my typewriter locally from a collector who was very surprised I planned to actually use it. It was about $50 if I recall. But that was several years ago. I had one before that which I also bought locally on Kijiji (before FB marketplace was a thing) but it broke in the middle of a DT assignment. You can buy ribbon for them at regular office supply stores like staples. And We R Memory keepers may still sell ribbon refills (they had some fun colours) for their typecast typewriter which I’m not sure if they still sell. If you do consider the typecast (it’s 12 inches wide so can take full scrapbook paper) be sure you watch lots of reviews as it has very mixed/skewing to negative reviews. I have one and like it but they seem hit or miss (and I did have to have it replaced by the company because the first one I bought was a dud). Good luck finding a typewriter!
