Great video Josh, and I have to say that you were made for dairy. Some people should never be let near cattle, but your at the opposite end of that scale and have the correct attitude to get the best from them. I must ask, how many times have you cracked your head on those cross over beams in the parlor? 😂 The new mics have made a great difference too. Thanks

Love the video, my partner who has milked for over 30 yrs in total over 2.5 yrs on her current farm knows slow mikers off by heart and ear tags off by heart too, it's in her blood. Also the genetics and breeding she's top notch. I think its a very good move for you and you'll get back to enjoying your cows 🐄 👏👏

Hi Josh as an ex dairy farmer myself loving the new content, the summer months on the dairy farm I worked on where nice, it was a thousand acre farm with about seven hundred acres of arable, so our summer months where really busy which was nice as everything was done in house from silaging to harvesting and all the cultivation work as well, but if I'm honest with you doing just the cattle work during the nice crisp frosty days of autumn/winter where my absolute favourite time of year still miss that even to this day.

Oh yes! Yeah I think so, they seem happy enough to leave me to it! The good think about milking cows in the winter is I’ll be surrounded by 48 udders that give off a lot of heat! It’ll be toasty in the parlour!

@JMFarming one of my Uncle s married a New Zealander , their second son went to New Zealand after university 30 years later he has his own dairy farm in the North Island near Raglan. Last year he was over visiting his Mum for the first time since Covid. They came to see my parents for lunch. I said I watched " The Once Day Farmer " and he said you mean my cousin Andrew Mackie. His Mum couldn't believe we were discussing her cousin and KZfaq. Very small world.
