About Trailmakers:
In the toughest motoring expedition in the universe, you and your friends will build your own vehicles to cross a dangerous wasteland. Explore, crash horribly, use your wits to build a better rig, and get as far as you can with whatever spare parts you find on your way.
Welcome to the Ultimate Expedition!
Journey over grueling mountains, hazardous swamps, and bone-dry deserts on a distant world far from civilization - it is just you, your fellow adventurers and the amazing, jet-powered hover-buggy you built yourself. Explore, crash your vehicle, build a better one, and get as far as you can with whatever spare parts you find along your way.
Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

That RC plane makes for a REALLY interesting dogfight gimmick with the guys: RC planes where you have to rely on the all new "Camera Block" to even use it. It's not exactly the same as first-person only as I'm sure there's a bunch of crazy gimmicks and tricks you guys can come up with in regards to how to manipulate a camera block.

I love how on the Avatar bicopter there were blue and white stripes and with the black coloring of the chassis at some points the stripes look like the Estonian flag.

Scrapman i would like to see a 1v1v1v1 dogfight where everyone builds a plane and you randomly chose who gets whos plane you can get your own if you are lucky the creator also gets to chose the camera angel you have to use this can be a camera block.

12:00 fun fact, the speed comes from ALOT of raw jets set to 0.08 durration and 0.13 pause. the large jets are just there to recover quicker from falling. And Like all my workshop creations, i already have a better version of the Excalibur Warship.

I love that you still liked my Samson, despite not actually discovering its most prized part. In hover mode, it basically freezes midair, but in actuality it has no gyro geli motors to stabilize.

the AE86 is like, built to drift, and is popular meme culture, especially because of an anime that kinda has a slight focus around the car

AE86 was really popular and iconic even before Initial D. It even inspired whole new cooperation between Toyota and Subaru. For example Toyota GT86 (Subaru BRZ). And I can assure anyone that likes driving... these cars are super fun. Not best, not great, but so much fun to drive. AE86 was beast but GT86 is an unapologetic nod to the classics. You get a lone engine that's all about those rear wheels-forget any fancy rear-wheel steering tricks. And with the standard six-speed manual this beauty purrs like a kitten. It's a gem, and totally in sync with what driving should be about. Yeah i do like that car too much.

That's THE Toyota Trueno, the one from the Initial D, a quiet awesome anime about drift racing with a lot of eurobeat. Deja Vu, Running in the 90's, GAS GAS GAS, and a bunch of cool but less well-known eurobeat songs were used in it and kinda popularized the genre, at least a bit. Pretty hype races there imo. But I guess you know since Editor pulled up a shot from the anime as one of the references.

These vehicles are insane. I've been really impressed with the community creations showcased on this channel and others. Edit: I'm guessing there's no lower hull on the battleship due to complexity limits. It looks like there are a LOT of blocks in use on top, especially in the weapons systems.

Battle with 3 people: you have no limits on what to build BUT you know what each of you are building. This could be done that you all build next to each other and are talking or that you build privately but every 1 minute you see what the other people are building. This could be done that you have one rule and that is to build an air vehicle.

I know why the Samson 16 Scorpion bi-copter was programmed that way, if you recall from the first AVATAR movie in 2009, when Jake Sully and the Na'vi battled against the RDA amongst the Floating Mountains Trudy's Scorpion was painted up just like this one and the creator of this one tried to recreate the way it looked when the airship known as the Dragon shot her once and the copter caught fire in that same area and then they shot her again then BOOM, it blew up. So I imagine it's taking the same amount of time it took from the time it caught fire to the time it blew up.

Idea!(day 13) Aircraft carrier battle: 2V2 or 3V3 Everyone builds a vehicle, 1carrier and 1-2planes per team, the goal is to destroy the enemy carrier, the planes can respawn infinitely and have to take off from the carrier. The planes should have guns/rockets to fight enemy planes, but can only use torpedoes and guns against the carriers,(rockets and bombs would be too easy) so the carrier also has to dodge the torpedoes while letting the planes take off. I hope you like my idea! P.S. ideally with scrapman. I think there would only be time for 1maybe 2 rounds in a video, but there would be so much action!

Do 1v2 parasite fighters vs cargo plane.parasite fighter has 1 or 2 smart cannons and 30 block limit and cargo plane has 2 miniguns that are controlled by the cargo plane

3:18 just like the editor, I was initially confused. "You mean AE86, not AE88, right?". But *no*, the AE88 actually exists and is the USDM (United States Domestic Market) equivalent of the JDM AE86. The differences are very minimal, but the builder actually included the elongated rear bumper that was required to meet the US 'federal bumper standards'.

Just a suggestion. Can you please use the big ship build for a raid boss battle type game. You can make both boats and planes for this and longest Survivor as boss will be the winner

Scrapman here is a idea for you do a 1v1v1v1 by making a walking turrent and battle. You can also do a 2v2 that one person is shooting while the othr is controlling the walking turrent. Day 1 of asking scrapman to do this

What about.... Rc planes race 2vs2, each team builds an Rc plane, one player controls the plane and the other tells the other what to do, since they are in the plane,it can also be done with cars or boats

Video idea: you have a submarine (maybe a gliding one) that jumps up and is caught by a magnet plane ( similar to the car plane). Edit: but slightly different to the landing a submarine on the flying aircraft carrier (where I originally got the idea)
