Anyone else saw how he unscrewed the wrong bolts before realizing that he was supposed to to remove the big two bolts to remove the motor? 🤣🤣🤣

I have yet to find a motor in a washing machine thats copper. I have pulled many and they are always aluminum windings.

Most of the ones made in 2000 and later were made with aluminum.

most of those newer appliance motors are copper coated alluminim need to check them with a file before wasting your time taking apart.

Why not take back off and then clip the cord off from the plastic piece hook up

Depending on the washer design if it may or not be worth it. There may only be an inch or so left inside. Hard to say

2-3 lbs on average!

How much average weight are you considering? I counted 10% of the overall weight of the motor for AC and 12% for DC or car motors. Correct me if I am wrong Thanks
