Nice video style. I learned more about e-recycling then 50 other videos. Looking forward to what knowledge you have to share. 21st subscriber.

I used to tear them down. Now they are just low grade boards. Just subbed i thought i already did.
@rixismetals3 ай бұрын
I tear down most of my low grade boards mostly because I really enjoy doing it ( more so then the value of doing it) but I think I’m going to sort through as I do it and the ones with not much on leave them as low grade boards and tear down the ones that have a lot on ( for my enjoyment lol) thanks for the sub mate ,

Personally, I like low grade boards with the big chunks of Aluminum, copper and other components. If they all go into low grade at the scrapyard, I might as well pick off things and they still go into low grade.

I like low grade boards to for copper , aluminium and few other items , I used to depopulate all low grade boards , but changing how I do it now if the boards doesn’t have much on it I might take odd little thing off and leave the rest and put it on low grade pile to sell , but if they have a lot on the boards then completely strip the board , I’ve not done any videos for nearly 2 weeks as I’ve been ill but getting back on recording over next few days , and will be doing a video on how I’m changing up what I do with low grade boards

Those are some really clean looking boards, man! They're usually full of grime and dust, 🤢 Have you ever gotten grief from sounding to quiet? I incinerate my MOSFETS, then crush the leftovers to leave the nice copper you speak of. The heat helped amalgamate the gold that they contain.

I have around 600kg of power boards and they are all clean just like those ,I’ve been lucky so far and no one give me grief yet which to be honest I am surprised I use my iPhone at moment to make my videos , think I better look into getting a GoPro or something so I can record better sounding videos, I’m waiting till I have about 10Kg of mosfets before I do that I’ve got about 6kg at moment , have you got a video on here of you doing your mosfets ?
@MicroScraprMike3 ай бұрын
@rixismetals . Where did you get them all from? Your soft spokeness reminds me of when I started out and man did I get some grief! No complaints from me, though, just to be clear, haha. Perhaps a wireless microphone you can clip to your shirt, maybe? Yes, I do have a video showing how I do MOSFETS. I'll try and link it in these comments if you'd like?

@rixismetals . It's under the Playlist copper recovery, and it's titled incinerating MOSFETS.

Quick question, those little blue rubber coated things on the boards,. What are those? And what’s inside them? I’m normally not a micro scrapper, so I usually just toss the boards in whole. But I’m definitely curious what those things are😳😀👍🏻. Greetings from the deserts of Az!! Steve.

Hi Steve , they are a type of capacitor some of them contain silver ( some types contain other precious metals too ) especially on older boards , I take of the various colours , blue,black , yellow , beige, brown and green , there is a great channel on here called 999dusan he does precious metal refining he had done videos on the precious metals that they contain , I save them all up when I have a decent weight of them I’ll send them to a refiner here in Uk to recover the precious metals , Hope that helps 😁👍

@@rixismetals Thanks for explaining, I will give the other guy a look. And the UK! I figured that’s where you were from just by the way, you said aluminum😀. But I wasn’t sure! Thanks again my friend.! Steve
