So delightful to look through your Christmas papers with you. No better way to end than to watch you collage. I totally get how you feel with kids/grandkids scattered. My youngest daughter is moving over an hour away. Going to miss the two littles and her so much. They are moving closer to her husbands work. You sure did get a lot fone. Lots of pretty scraps to make lots of pretty ephemera. I have been going to volleyball games and football games. Granddaughter is a 7th grader and has games on Monday and Wednesfay. Grandson is.a Freshman and has games on Monday after his sisters games. Sometimrs they don't align like one will hub e at home and the other is away but, we cope. Both are really doing very well. So proud of both of them.💖💖💖💖💖

So much fun playing with Christmas scraps! Really glad you got to visit with your faraway kids and grandchildren. I totally relate, as our kids and grandchildren are spread far afield too! We are blessed to be seeing our youngest grandchild with his mom and dad this weekend. Gayle, Love all of these. Would love to share a tip that really made a difference for me, but I see almost no one using it. There's a much easier way to make exact slant cuts on tags and you can do a lot at once. Just stack them exactly evenly, then cut one side. Flip the top of the pile and cut the other. Voila. Exactly even/matching angles every time. No fishing for the cast-off bit, struggling to line it up and hold it in place while you cut, etc. I find trying to hold the little triangle never works; I even put it on backward sometimes. This was a game-changer. I can even do up to six tags at once.

The older kids get, they like to pick out their own things!

I think we must have the same brain or something, I noticed your comment yesterday about something that I had just said, and then I saw you with the master board made on the Medicare 2022 handbook. Yesterday I realized that I still had 2021, 2022, & now 2023, I was thinking there was probably something I could do with them. When Voila, you showed your master board. How funny!

Morning, Gayle! It's a beautiful, sunny day here in mid-PA. The Fall colors are beginning to look good. Seeing some reds, yellows, oranges, and rust colors. My hubby and I might take a short drive up North, possibly into NY to one of the Finger Lakes, to see how the colors are there. The Finger Lakes are quite beautiful. Lots of gorges and waterfalls, as well as grape vineyards around those areas. Most people think of NY City when they hear about NY, but its actually quite a lovely State throughout. Some really gorgeous nature. Anyway, I really love this season and always feel it's much too short. So, we took your recommendation and have been watching Stranger Things. We just started Season 3. It's a good show to watch in Oct. And I agree that the kids really do make the show. Fun to see kids grow up on a show like this. We've been enjoying it and I'm constantly at the edge of my seat. Especially with what happened to Bob, as I really like Sean Astin as an actor. He always plays such a kind and good guy and makes you feel good inside. He did his role very well all the way to the very end. Sigh. Poor Bob. 😁 😂 Anyway, we are enjoying it, so thank you. I was worried that my Travelers recommend would be not up your alley, but after watching ST, I think you'll find it on a similar caliber. And the cast is very likeable, too. The character, David, is a bit like Bob, except he is there throughout the series. They canceled the series after 3 seasons, but there are actually petitions to try and get it back. Both my hubby and I had some withdrawal symptoms when it was over. We miss watching it and do hope the petitions work. It ended much too soon. Well, I hope you have a wonderful day, my friend. Hugs! I hope you have a great Saturday as well. I'm about to head into my art studio to hopefully make some progress in cleaning it. I need to put things away, get rid of things, and curate some vintage ephemera/book pages to put in my shop because I will never use them all in my lifetime. Plus a lot of it I purchased thinking I'd sell it and THEN I found out what it took to list things and to sell them. I wish I could warn the people thinking of doing that that you will never make back what you paid in money and time. I won't even break even (and even then not even break even if I want stuff to sell in a timely manner) if I don't do the work to list it. How do people do it continually. Once I get my stuff out I'm not buying any more inventory. I'll stick to selling finished produces which is hard enough to begin with. Okay - end of rant. That's the danger of making a comment on the laptop - I can type faster and more. ;) I know you understand though. Thanks for sharing your talents, time, and fun with the rest of us. I know I appreciate it and I appreciate you. I hope all the grandchildren excel in their weekend events. I hope you have a delightful day. Love&huygs
