I am enjoying it and kudos to Spiltsie for his creation. It is encouraging me to work towards my own scenario, which is similar but completely different. Lots of water to go under the bridge learning, building and testing before that becomes a reality.

It's daunting isn't it? I spend weeks on a single Blueprint, idk if I could even complete a scenario to publish lol

@@mrmcscuseme the trick is to get airborne. 1 small grid big turbine and about 6-8 small turbines and a battery will extend your reach. Make the base a large grid rover so you can carry more and put a hing halfway up a wind tower and attach it to your rover with a landing gear at the bottom and you can recharge the rover wherever you are. Once you find one large hydro thruster and 6-8 small hydro thrusters you can get to space. Once your up, avoid pirates and miners and search for an ice asteroid and set up a base and a survival kit. After all that, you can begin to make a ship to capture miners and drones and build up enough to capture wrecks and bases. If your ice asteroid is over a ground base and in the gravity well the assertive ships will rain down and can be salvaged planet-side.

@@mrmcscuseme The later scenario I'm planning, I'm going to need to learn a whole lot of new stuff, daunting may be an understatement, but I'm hoping it I can pull it off, I think there will be many that enjoy playing it if I do and it will make it all worth it.

@@Wellington6012 I have always found you very listenable and interesting. Editing out the monotony of travel and concentrating of the meat. Might be time for me to revive my SE experience and join your adventure on my own. I have seen other vlogers saying there are editable files to adjust the frequency of spawns etc. So i still have much to learn. Keep entertaining your audience.

@@australianandrew128 All the MES stuff you can manually spawn or adjust the frequency easily enough, assuming you know the right word to type into the command line. I haven't needed to for my playthrough, stuff seems to show up just when I need it, also spoiler, I'm fully airborne now.

This engineer is quite proud of that one. Next episode hone the skill and use it a bit more.

Another good cheap source of big cargo space are large grid connectors. they dont need metal grids, hold 8,000L, and can attach to each other to make for some easily expandable carrying capacity.

Yes! Well versed in the weld pad mod, love it, should be part of the base game. Initially lacking a surplus of computers to throw at the weld pads, a later episode has a different solution to carrying all those small blocks, but once I game into the game proper, snap, weld, 💥 everywhere

No worries! It's been just a good fun playthrough so far, the block limitations make a nice change from normal play. I think there'll be a bit of this while I develop my next scenarios.

Yeap, didn't think I did not have access to them. I think I've figured out most thing. Fair enough on most of the limitations and I say this with a warm heart, no event controllers is annoying and the lack of cargo containers sucks.

@@Wellington6012 Hi, agreed, I believe you can find small grid event controllers on wrecks. Note, as you already know, you can post gps to things you would like to go back to in the event you can't carry something back or is of interest right.

@@Mr_Steve-nk2bd I've got some event controllers rattling around in the back, it's just an annoyance, we were given timers, but the generosity did quite reach beyond that.

Yeap, definitely going to the Alien planet, but some things I want to do there, I need to learn some modding first, so that partly what the next series will be about, experimenting with some game mechanic ideas. The 'future scenario' I've been talking about might take me a year to make, assuming I can even do it, so I think the Alien planet will be before then.

I suspect the mods Spiltsie has included was with the support of their respective creators and therefore he has some control and ongoing support for them, whereas the others might be beyond his control and therefore recommended, but 'use at own risk', which is absolutely fine with me.

@@Wellington6012 That would be fine and all, but he only called out a single mod as recommended but not included, which naturally made me believe that was the only one missing.

Oh, apologies in advance for more pain, I have several episodes already under my belt and have not figured that out yet, guess I know now. Not too much pain though, I have a another solution for carrying random small grid blocks and haven't really started construction in earnest.

@@Wellington6012 its all good wellington... it used to be really bad... but check out the mod improvised engineering i believe they say the controls there for moving things around easily
