i like the new versions of the songs. seems like they fixed the tuning. specially melodii, they sound more expressive.

With the new voices it’s clear their focus was consistency and clarity A lot of vocals are now a lot clearer, and Melodii got practically overhauled, a lot of her vocals are far less electronic sounding and now has a consistent voice amongst all songs (for an example of what I mean by consistency listen to how different her voice is in the old version of Grease Poppin compared to the rest of the game)

The new cream cheese icing is marginally better than the original imo but it suffers from the issue of not being a very good tutorial song compared to the original.

I definitely see that now that you pointed it out. Since the songs are made with vocaloids the lines could easily be simplified if need be, and the UI could also do with some sort of signifier that it's changing from blue to pink or vice versa. I love new Cream Cheese Icing, it's a bop, but it absolutely might be a bit tricky for beginners.

i always complain on how the tutorial prepares you for not much and the 1st song isnt very beginner friendly. If i had to say, nami.wav is the easier then cream cheese icing and it kinda annoys me. I got my friend to play it and she couldn’t get past cci 😭😭

I like the new versions now. It’s clearer and seems more expressive Tho I did prefer the old version for Stir and Mix, but that just may be me being used to how the voices in the old one sound since it sounds odd in the new version.

Yeah it might be the new tuning. The old tuning (IMO) was more in rhythm, but I can’t judge, I am no expert, nor do I know jack shit about music. lol.

i really like the improved version. Firstly Cream Cheese Icing being like the original but having a lot more playing instead of the three just staring. The overhauled Vocaloids are nicer, sounding way more smooth and clear, more appealing to the ears. and then the lighting is noticeably more bright in Grease Poppin'. And i also noticed the "Take a Breather" camera angle was changed to view the outside instead of the corner. Overall the updated version is just a lot better.

that's what makes Nami unique, and also fits how all the normal songs are vocaloid, but digital-themed song is voiced by a human

@@blokos_It sounds bad though, Human voiced songs have more expressiveness. Using non-human tools like that is no good, atleast humans can still sing and sound better.

really good comparison video, easy to see all the changes! i love the polish that is going into this game, nami.wav looks way more dynamic, bit sad they got rid of the guitar in grease poppin though

I noticed the creator seems to base the difficulty based off how they play and not how players would. You can see the switch to support used to have a warning and it seems the levels have gotten harder which is really bad especially in the case of cream cheese icing which is insane for a first level and this comes from someone who has played rhythm games in the past and have gotten my friend who can beat the hardest modes with cool mode on Parappa 2 but took 10 tries at cream cheese icing.

it took so long to finish cci that i gave up and freeplayed. Then low and behold, I could play nami.wav and stir and mix way better then cci? Math isnt mathing rn

I'm so sad that they changed the vocals for Melodii in "Grease Poppin'," I really thought that their old voice fit the style of the song a lot better. I guess people were bothered that they couldn't understand the lyrics? Maybe it's just because I listen to Jack Stauber, but that never bothered me. Oh well.

Love the new animations, they make it a bit less awkward in my opinion. I don’t know why, but I have this weird dilemma about Cream Cheese Icing. I feel it’s better but it weirdly doesn’t feel like an introduction/tutorial anymore.

The old version didn’t sound too clear so they did some bug fixes in the 2023 update. I hope they add the 2024 update.

The only song that I think should’ve kept Melodii’s old voice is Grease Poppin. The more robotic tone meshes better with McWave.

Dear Va for jamtime: with all honesty. You did your best. Jamtime new voice works well in some places. But Ai Ai Ai everything sounds out of sinc especially the "StiIIIrr" part. The old one sounded more natural. But hey this is a demo after all. Things a scheduled to change anyways

1st : new is definitely a great upgrade both song and graphics Edit: euh on second thought, djs old voice is more favourable in the old version 2nd: i don't think the song has changed much or at all maybe? I like alot of the graphic additions but there are parts of the old one that are a little better idea-wise for graphics 3rd: OH GOD WHAT DID THEY DO TO HER VOICE OH GOD HELP ME OH GOD MY SKIN IS BURNING ...
