They added in the proposal at the end because that was the same year Courtney Cox and David Arquette got married in real life. Their love story literally follows the Scream franchise, lol. They met during Scream, started dating while making Scream 2, got married at the same time as Scream 3, and were still married for the 4th. It was after Scream 4 when they got separated and divorced in real life. So, in Scream 5, their characters were also divorced, lol. But they are still good friends and co-parents to their daughter.

I always call him Puddy too...I literally can't NOT call him Puddy.😂😂😂

Man, this movie came out when I was in 7th grade, and one of my friends' mom snuck us into the theater by pretending to watch with us so a couple of us could see it because the theaters were SUPER strict about R movies. Weirdly being 13 feels like yesterday instead of 24 years ago lol

The scream movies are so much fun to watch, the first will always be my favourite but I must say the newest 2 are also really good and come just after the first in order of my favourites

Parker Posey is my favorite part of this movie!!! She’s INCREDIBLE!! And definitely deserved to carry on in this franchise!!! When she did the whole “I won’t die if I’m with you” to Gale…pure acting perfection lol I love when you and Marc do horror reactions! Yes, you are correct, John Milton's mansion is the same that they used in Halloween: H2O as the school well the outside of it and the hallway upstairs where Ghostface threw Tyson out of the window from and where Angelina had that little argument with Gale and Jennifer. In H2O, that hallway was covered in white sheets blowing around. Also, in H2O, when the girls were getting ready in their room to hang out with the guys, Scream 2 was playing in the background with CiCi (Sarah Michelle Gellar) during her phone call/kill scene. Also, fun fact: The blonde girl in H2O Molly, played by Michelle Williams. Also played Jen in the tv series Dawson's Creek, and Scott Foley (Roman) was one of her love interests in the 1st season as Cliff. He left Dawson's Creek to film for Scream 3. Kevin Williamson who wrote Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 4 was also the writer for Dawson's Creek.

I love the whole scene between Roman and Sidney. You can really feel that sibling vibe with the arguing back and forth and the fighting. One of the things that I LOVE about Sidney is she doesn't care who you are she's not afraid to talk shit back to them and can be savage lol (except for Randy he did that and got killed for shit talking on Billy with Ms. Loomis). She is mostly the one who doesn't beg for her life and actually fights back with balls (well, Gale and Dewey did a little bit in the 3rd, 5th, and 6th). The ending, though between Roman and Sidney, when they held each other's hand that right there is my all-time favorite moment between a hero/vilian, it felt so bittersweet between them both. Like you can see, she feels for him cause he was rejected by their mother, but at the same time, it's about survival and doing what she has to do to survive. For him it's he always wanted a family but got rejected by his birth mother, and then the jealousy took over. Also, it didn't help with it being his 30th birthday and became a trigger that made him snap and went after Sidney. - So, the original plan was Roman was just going to be the puppet master staying behind the curtain kind of thing and set it up to where Billy and his accomplice which ended up being Stu to ONLY go after Maureen Prescott. But after they killed her, they got a taste for it and them two decided to continue on for themselves with Sidney and their peers a year later. Scream 2 was a domino effect. It was just about revenge for Ms. Loomis and just hired Mickey as her lackey. Then Scream 3, it coming into his 30th birthday a reminder of being abandoned by his own mom and directing a movie about Sidneys life, it was Iike a mental trigger for him. He ended up going after her due to the jealousy of their mom only wanting Sidney and wanting nothing to do with him. Maureen even tried to convince him that his mom, "Rina Reynolds," was dead, so it struck a nerve, and that's exactly what he did. ( Roman : And once I supplied the motivation... all the kid needed was a few pointers. Have a partner to sell out in case he got caught (Stu), find someone to frame (Cotton), it was like he was making a movie. Sidney : You... this is all because of you. Roman : I'm a director, Sid, I direct. Sidney : Ah. Roman : I had no idea that they were gonna make a film of their own (Billy and Stu creating the image of Ghostface on their own to continue on with their killing). I mean, intoducing Sidney the victim, Sidney the survivor, SIDNEY THE STAR! )

The deaths WERE quick. The studio wanted to tone down the violence and blood so soon after Columbine. That's also why the movie leans more into comedy. They wanted a lighter tone.

Sorry another comment, but just had another thought since u have seen the later ones it just dawned on me that u guys must not realize that Dempsey character Kincaid is her husband in the later films cause yall were guessing him as the killer. We lost Randy in the second movie, and in this one we immediately lost Cotton. We lost Cotton, but I love the addition of Patrick Dempsey's character in this one. 18:53 - 19:34 RIP always to Carrie Fisher! I keep forgetting about her cameo appearance in this movie. LOL! Always great to see her. 32:37 I think, not 100% sure, that this was around the time that David Arquette and Courtney Cox got engaged in real life. That or they were already married. This movie is maybe 4 or 5 on my list of favorite "Scream" movies. Patrick Dempsey and the Carrie Fisher cameo appearance keep it from being my least favorite in the series. A few more Patrick Dempsey movies that I very highly recommend: "Can't Buy Me Love" from 1987(his first movie), "Loverboy" from 1989(also with Carrie Fisher), and my absolute favorite "Sweet Home Alabama" from 2002. Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊

So many people think the voice changer was so unbelievable.. But I still love it, though, lol. Roman was a music video and movie DIRECTOR IN HOLLYWOOD. He could have easily gotten it from somewhere in the industry OR could have paid some tech genius to make him a personalized voice changer. Then, with collecting the voices to be able to use. Cotton has his own tv show, Gale is a reporter, Dewey worked onset with him, He probably looked into the stuff that Maureen (Rina Reynolds) was in to get hers, and then got Sidneys voice from the first time he called her when he used her mothers voice. It was one of the smartest plays on here. It really made you think.. are you really talking to that person, or is it ghostface masking behind their voices. Like when Roman called Sarah, it was like hiding in plain sight. We didn't know if it actually was him or someone else. He used Sidneys voice to lure Dewey and Gale to the mansion. So he could turn around to use them as bait to lure Sidney to him away from the cops. I knew right away it wasn't actually Sid. The caller, when talking to Dewey the caller mentioned being protected by the LAPD at the end of it the caller had like a little chuckle when talking about the cops. Then the caller cut Dewey off and hung up on him. Sidney would never do that to Dewey.

Some fun facts for you. Fact 1: Sarah's character (Jenny Mccarthy) and the outfit she wore when she died was purposely made by Wes to make fun of Sarah Michelle Gellar from Scream 2. I guess him and SMG didn't really get along. Sarah Darling was only in two scenes and dressed similar to CiCi in Scream 2. Fact 2: Originally, it was only going to be a trilogy. That's why Randy was giving the rules of a trilogy cause that's what it was. The ending with leaving the door open was a symbolism how now she felt at peace and how she could finally live her life. Scream 4 and so on didn't come into the picture till years down the line when all of the other movies/TV shows were making remakes. So, of course, they had to poke fun with it, lol. Fact 3: Wes did the Cameo video with Randy because he regretted killing him off so early and for the back lash he got from the fans, lol. That's why Tyson made that little comment about how "the killer was probably some pissed off fan that Randy was killed in Stab 2" lol. Fact 4: The original script was going to be Stu coming back that he survived the tv and had been in prison and orchestrated a cult to go after Sidney. Roman, the half-brother story was literally the last-minute change. Just before they started filming the 3rd the Columbine shooting massacre happened and it hit to close to home so they were forced to scrap that storyline because of it and that's why the kills weren't that extreme as the other movies. It was a rough time when that happened for the tv shows/horror cinema. So they changed it to Roman and Angelina as the killers where Angelina went to high school with Sidney. But they had to change it again during filming and left it only being Roman as the solo killer. That's why, in some scenes, Angelina was really sketchy. So, for the 3rd, it was a solo killer. Fact 5: In the movie, they brought up a lot on how scripts kept getting changed for Stab 3. Well, they were also making fun with it because of the number of times they had to change the script between Scream 2 and 3. Fact 6: As I already mentioned in another comment the mansion for the final act, the outside, and the upstairs hallway where Tyson was killed is the same one from Halloween H20 where Laurie was running a school. Fact 7. John Milton character was based off of Weinstien one of their producers. During first Scream filming, he harassed Rose McGowan (Tatum). Can you imagine how awkward it would be to produce a movie that's based about you in that manor? lol. Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson wanted to expose him for who he was. Fact 8. When Gale and Jennifer first met and Gale told her " I'm sorry about Brad Pitt I bet being single that was a pretty good fall back" That was another 1 liner for Jennifer Aniston to poke fun with being co-stars on "Friends" lol.

Love you both, I spent the whole day in the hospital yesterday so had to miss it, love Scream 3 I know majority hate it or it's their least favorite but it's up there for me, they had so many re writes to this and had so many issues so they pretty much said F it! Let's just make fun of things and have a good time, but I absolutely love the twist reveal it's actually my favorite of all the Screams

I think it IS the same house from H20. Also they straight up use some of the same tracks from I think scream 2’s soundtrack, in Halloween H20.

Doesn't feel like a Scream movie to me, but I still like it better than 2. Characters in 2 just weren't that interesting to me. Hair dept. screwed up Cox's hair at the last second, so they went with the bangs. Looking forward to Scream IV--my second favorite.

Great reaction again!!🥰😎⭐️ There were sooooo many things wrong with Scream 3! I don’t know where to begin. Even Wes Craven with his genius directing couldn’t pull it off. It’s not a terrible film. But it’s the weakest of all the others films in the franchise. Scream 3's plot was so convoluted and relied too much on typical horror clichés. This movie didn't do anything different to set itself apart from other horror movies, and instead, it reused some of the same horror tropes they made fun of in the first two films. The Roman character was awful too. I just can’t get past the idea that he was the master mind behind Billy and Stu. To me it takes away a lot from the first film which that shouldn’t be the case here. Coincidentally, the Angelina character was originally the 2nd killer and for whatever reason they decided to drop that idea. Plus, this film was not written by Kevin Williamson who wrote 1 & 2 but rather; Ehren Kruger. And for some reason, Neve Campbell has the least amount of screen time. Apparently she was only available to shoot a certain number of days. The violence was also toned down and the kills were very quick because of the violence in cinema debates and this was also around the same time as the Columbine shooting. And I appreciate they tried to do something different here but they did this installment a huge disservice. Not one of my faves and I rank it last on my list. Parker Posey and Courtney Cox made it entertaining enough for me to like it. Y’all need to rewatch the other two as well. We know you saw them. But you may have a different take on them now that you’re actually watching these in order.
