I'm still amazed by how well Courteney performed this role. A huge fan of her performance as Monica Geller but the contrast she created in these 2 roles as an actress shows how well talented she is. Sad she doesn't make more movies!

Just to show Neve Campbell can act really well, I love at 1:43 you actually tell she’s starting to well up with tears and is holding it back which anyone who’s tried to cry on camera knows that it’s hard to do. Courtney Cox also was fantastic at playing the “media bitch” as a contrast to her Monica Geller character on friends.

Fun thing: They used a special voice actor for the voice of Ghostface and no one of the cast knew who that actor was until the end of the filming for their reactions of fear to be more genuine and realistic. But, this movie inspired the real voice changing apps to be made in real life.

The first time you watch it, you just saw Billy get put in jail for the night then there is ACTUAL proof its not him or can't be him (because no one's thinking 2 killers). Great twist from the word go.

One thing I don't understand is why Billy/Stu kept dropping hints that they/Ghostface killed Sidney's mom. They already framed Cotton and were planning on framing Mr. Prescott for the rest of the murders, so why risk having the police take a second look at the first time they got away with murder. I know it was mostly to mess with Sidney, but it still seems weirdly risky. (Then again this is the same duo that stabbed each other before killing Sidney, her Dad, Randy, Gale, AND Dewey.)
