i didnt watch tpn but i remember some stuff cuz spoilers.. (I’ll say demon slayer and tpn) Tpn = Connie (the one died) got eaten and turned into meat by a demon Demon slayer = Rengoku (died) was fighting akaza (the one who killed him) and akaza made him into a donut (put hand through his stomach ig)

personally,, i’m stuck between juuzou (tokyo ghoul), eren (attack on titan) and tanjiro (demon slayer). eren literally just watched his mother get eaten by a titan,, completely helpless to the situation. not to mention that his home was destroyed and a majority of the people living in it were killed. he was just a kid and he lost everything within minutes. tanjiro’s family was murdered by muzan (the demon king- whatever tf he’s called) and his younger sister, nezuko, was turned into a demon. he was still relatively young and was forced into a position where he had to learn to slay demons to protect himself and his sister. the guy he saw get killed was his (soon-to-be but unfortunately no longer) mentor, rengoku. tanjiro and his friend inosuke were too late to stop akaza,, the demon who killed rengoku. and juuzou’s past is.. pretty fucking bad. in a nutshell : he was kidnapped by a ghoul called big madam at a very young age. she tortured him severely, castrated him, and forced him to participate in shows where he performed for ghouls (shows where he killed people for their entertainment). shinohara, the guy who was injured during that scene, was a father figure to juuzou. so essentially, juuzou broke down after watching the only father figure he’s ever had in his life, die.” (he even blamed himself for failing to protect shinohara)
