This is awesome. I was looking for this song for a long time so I ripped the song off of the dvd and posted it on youtube a while back. Because it was ripped from the dvd it didn't sound the best but it was the only one on youtube so all was well. Now thanks to you we have the full version and it sounds great! Not to discredit Craven, but I believe it was Marco Beltrami (who did the original score) who wrote this song for Dixon and wanted to sample it in his score for the movie, which he did. A truncated version of the song then plays over the credits.

did you know there's an alternative version of the Scream soundtrack that features the song "Drop Dead Gorgeous" at the end and instead of the image of Sidney and Billy standing on the inside of the CD it has a picture of Billy holding Sidney as he looks suspicious.
