Because short films don't have to flesh out the story to make the hour and a half + mark. Short films get straight to the point.

Well Funny...first of All,. when you make a low-budget film it is usually in a Real house not an Elaborate set...that seems oh...so Hollywood. Second the Filmmakers rely on SUBSTANCE not special effects! Also the Actors aren't engaged in "HOLLYWOOD" method acting...and they are out to prove themselves! Not some hand picked model who "looks good" in front of the Camera! Also.. Hollywood doesn't take chances like the average Joe" does.... now start doing movies!...lolol

For the many people pointing out that the wife was fooled by the demons’ appearance and stupid for opening the door: it was made clear in the scene that they hypnotized her, and the husband confirmed it during his interview.

This is based on the black eyes kids. As long as you do not invite them in, they cannot go into your house no matter how aggressive they knock on your doors and yell even with you outside the house. It was what I had saw on youtube years ago with various researchers. Love that it is made into a video and done very well.

Before we had mobiles I use to wake my sister up if I was out late and needed her to let me in by throwing stones at the window. I always remember her freaked out face peering through the curtains to see who was there. She looked terrified. 😬😨😱

1 - "The 'children' start pounding on the door like lunatics." 2 - "The 'children' say 'there's no need to do that,' when the lady is about to call the police." 3 - "The phone does not work." 4 - "'We're not going to hurt you' - because this is what kids think when talking to adults" I don't know how many more signs this lady needed to realize that it would not be a good idea to let them in. LOL.

That isn't the ending I was expecting! I was on my bed watching and had a jump scare which hasn't happened in a while, so thank you for that! Any kind of horror movie based on possession/demons has always fascinated me. So, this was right up my alley, and I knew I was going to like it. Those kids were so creepy looking especially the way the woman looked after looking into their eyes. I really enjoyed this, and I will continue now to go through all of the short horror films you have because they are fascinating, and I love the style. I'm very impressed with this channel and yes, I'm definitely hooked on watching these short horror films.

that's not gonna work for demons if it's a demon you have to rebuke them and say ' i rebuke you in the name of jesus' like a lot of times until you feel better and you should still lock the door and never open the door to anyone nobody just look through the little hole and see if it's someone suspicious don't let them in you. if someone is trying to kill you like a human you have to shoot and think with your head and never make noises when your hiding because I'm living by myself and that's what I'm doing anyway nobody like you deserves to get hurt so yeah follow these tips and you will have the time of your life without any bothering or danger or threats of anyone.

black eyed children are supposed to be incredibly persuasive, and you're only supposed to notice that something feels wrong at the last second, right before you let them in. your body is supposed to kind of move on its own, subconsciously, until your mind realizes what's happening and stops it. but the whole premise of their power is that you have to let them in. you can't just get trapped by someone else like this, it totally breaks the rules of their power! but, still.. this was awesome! i love black eyed kids stories!

This gave me chills, especially at the end. Really good acting from the author and his wife, not so much for the interviewer. Very good special effects for the soul sucking. The kids were creepy, their voices even more so. Well done!
