Built in 1976 by Philadelphia Toboggan Company and designed by John Allen, Will Cobb, and Don Rosser, The Screamin' Eagle was at one time the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. At a max. height of 110ft and a first drop of 87 ft but a third drop of 92ft, riders fly through the natural woods and topography at 62mph across an L-shaped out-n-back layout of 3,872ft of wooden track. Riders experience intense airtime and sharp laterals throughout its course, making it a fan favorite for the past 40+ years.
