Fellow school boy, his father had a Nazi battle flag, that his dad took off a German tank during this battle. Remember the German Army broke thru the Ardennes in good Fall weather in 1940, facing inexperienced French units. Now they are facing experienced Allied or Special Forces units on those same narrow roads .. but in hellish weather ;-(

1:43 Well who can blame the Wehrmacht in not being able to hold at this stage. It’s not what it once was and is pretty much low on everything from experienced men as well as manpower in general since there isn’t much of anything or anyone to call up anymore and it’s facing massive armies. No air superiority either at this stage for Germany. No oil, bombed war production, millions of armies against it and basically not the finely honed edge that it was in 40 and 41. Basically he mentioned it here 2:02 this wasn’t the same army that invaded France and the Soviet Union this was an army on the edge of collapse and very much nearly dead with no realistic offensive capability left, only the dreams of an idiot at its head.

The Panzerlied as sung in the movie "Battle of the Bulge" is a good contrast to Sabaton.
