My next ones will probably be made out of cedar. There is a guy who runs a sawmill not too far away from me who mills a lot of cedar and I bet he has some lumber large enough to make some nice boxes that would last and that the owls would like.

+TheEmeraldfox it was built according to specs found on the internet in multiple places. I doubt they are all wrong. These are screech owls and are not as big as some other owl species.
