Fun tip! To open your emulsion container put it on the floor, and put your knee on the center of the lid, and open! That little bit of pressure from your knee makes it SOOOO much easier to open.

Thanks for doing all the work it takes to make videos like this... you are helping educate so many people, strangers... and that is what makes you a genuine good person. There are so many people out there that dont see the value in good deeds... those are the same people that complain about their 'free lunch'.... Lol. This video is detailed enough to easily absorb knowledge, but not overloaded.... Video length is good as well. It's important to spread positive energy out to those who do the same. I want you to remember this comment the next time your in line for a coffee...Buy the drink for the person behind you!

Recently I received the Easyway guys into the shop, they recomend the 701N to be apply with a scruber instead of apply with a mist... The same scrubber you use to scrub the 701N, you dip into a bucket with the chemical and apply directly

Try the “Natural Gum Rubber Tape” from Uline. It works great on screens and taping boxes. Doesnt leave sticky residue on screens and its cheap.

I am curious how well the CCI mixing system will work. My local supplier recommended the T-Charge system, which uses their web based mixing software. Another great video.

Awesome video as always! Love easi-way! So I was wondering if you ever have the time and the inks in stock if you could do a video on how to work with wilflex special effects inks. Can never find videos on the stuff. Or there might be videos on the end result but nothing really on the actual process.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, and I'm not sure if you've figured out an ink storage already. Either way wide mouth canning jars are cleanable.

Absolutely agree about emulsion containers. Never thought of pouring it into something else. Do you use any low temp inks?

Yes we try and love them but it so hot here we need to store them in a cool place like a fridge or something.

IPG is a bitch to remove if you let it sit too long... see if you can get Tesa from your vendor. It removes noticeably easier ... Awesome Vid!

Thanks for the upload man. When your blowing the image out of your screen, your screen doesn't get exposed where you're at? I noticed the garage door is open so some strong rays can get through. I'm trying to figure out where to place mine or to just get 2 one for the dark room and one out in production.

Thanks for the video, I really expected some info regarding your printing press. What would you recommend for beginners? do we need a four color press to start? Why do you use that press as opposed to other options.

This topic is very objective, in my opinion srart with a cheap single color single station press, and see if you like printing shirts, if your into it jump right in to at least a 6 color 4 station floor press with micro adjustments.

OK, first off I'm a noob to screen printing. I'm looking into getting an Epson Artisan 1400. I asked the seller if it could be used to print transparencies for screen printing. They said NO. I then asked the same question on Epson website..they too said .."NO". that being said everything that I have seen on screening printing forums say this printer is one of the freakin best screening printers...so needless to say I'm a bit corn fused...any help/clarification is and would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I have the triloc system and cant get it to work for us but many shop make them work. I dont have much opinion on them at this point. I will revisit them when we get retensionable screens.

We use ipg rubber tape from j&j supply. They are nice folks to work with. Why is water based ink different from discharge ink or is it? And is discharge ink different from plastisol that has an additive turning it into discharge ink like union plasticharge. Probably a silly question but some of the ink lingo and lack of informative/educational material that comes with ink makes my head spin.

Hsa waterbased sits on top of the fabric similar to plastisol. Discharge and low solid waterbased ink is forced into the fabric and reduces the garment, its softer to the touch.

Does your discharge ink ever bleed through the screen and onto the garment (post hardening) only to discover the pinhole or reg mark after running it through the conveyor? I've tried to tape on the print side causing a bleed around the tape. I have also tried using Blockout tape but like a preventive seal before inking the screen using long stips over the reg marks applying to the Ink side of the screen, somehow the ink manages to find it's way through... Any suggestions on fighting this battle? Spot gun won't do shit for discharge

Look into a more water proof emulsion, and use that emulsion to patch the pin hole after washout then post expose in uv light.
