Great. So question. I have a 16” M1 Pro with a cracked screen and need a screen replacement. I’m nervous about having it replaced with an oem part because heard that it doesn’t calibrate well but I can’t afford the Apple $1300 price tag for a new screen. From your experience, is this worry warranted or the oem screens are fine?

Replace the original screen panel and transfer two chips from the old screen to retain all functions.

Hi from Mexico! I have a lot of experience changing MacBook Air and Pro screens from 2020 onwards, in this last month I have changed 2 screens with notch, an a2442 and a2681, but I have had the problem that the screens do not fit well or even They come off, in the last one I used 2 double-sided tapes and silicone b7000 and it seemed to work, but is there a better way to stick these screens? What type of tape or glue do you recommend? I appreciate your content very much! a hug from Mexico

@@l2computer310 that has nothing with apple it self todo. it has todo with calibration data cause the notch in the screen makes the pixel arrangement unusual

@@bennaambo2716yes but Apple could provide the calibration software to third party repair. By not doing so they are inhibiting an owners ability to have their display replaced at a reasonable price. Simple as that you Apple fan boy :)

My display isn't broke, but it is all dark. I suspect my IC burned, I think replacing the LCD would not work. Did you have a case like this?

Hello, I have eye strain and blurry text issues with my Macbook Pro 14. I guess that I have faulty anti-flare coating on my screen. May be you know, is it possible to remove coating from Macbook Pro 14? Is it covers the top layer of the screen as it was on previous models? Thanks!
