Me as an OG Star Wars fan and a fan of the Knights of the Old Republic cinematics not being excited for a Star Wars project is a huge problem. I'm not interested in anything I saw in that trailer. I'm disappointed and looking for entertainment elsewhere. I can't be the only one.

@@doublet147Well, it’s not like Disney is intentionally releasing “bad” stories. Lucasfilm is trying to tell stories that pleases old and new fans. It’s just difficult to tell what fans want when all we hear is how much Disney Star Wars sucks and don’t want to give anything a chance. Plus, we have gotten good stories like The Clone Wars Season 7, The Bad Batch, Rebels, The Mandalorian, and Andor. So, it’s not all bad.

But also I would add that the side that likes to escalate it is also usually the side that tries to be the first one to point the blame after they realize there is no end to the way they choose to go at it the first time! Some would probably want it to be closer to the core of star wars (the original trilogy and maybe the prequel trilogy), or maybe some would rather the slate be wiped clean for the sequel trilogy and go forward with Luke's future teaching Jedi and actually doing prominent stuff in the books. Or maybe that some prefer the Old Republic not High Republic. Could be many reasons.

What exactly is there to be critical of after seeing a 90 second trailer of a new Lucasfilm production about a popular storyline? How sad and disappointing to see such reaction over diversity within a FICTIONAL UNIVERSE. Rogue One was GREAT but, surprise surprise, we saw the same sort of "too much diversity" backlash when its trailer premiered. smh

I think it's more about pushing out more content. They try to hype up a show, then speculate on how they're all interconnected with theories that are tenuous at best, and then when the next one comes out, try to find a way to tie that into a previous video. The problem is that most modern Star Wars is quite vague (perhaps intentionally) and jumping all around the timeline with some easter eggs sprinkled here and there perhaps so that these channels have something to speculate on. They also steal lots of ideas from the EU, leading to further speculation about how or why stolen ideas pop up.

And yet he constantly shits on the prequels! He's the real apologist!
