What if Qimir and Osha are.. Palpatines parents!!!!! Even though the mother is of a different ethnic origin than Qimir, in real life it's still possible to give birth to a caucassian child ifthe mother is darker skinned. In real life Amandla 's parents are from different ethnic backgrounds. Also I wonder if Palpatine's life was extended like Qimir's? So he's actually older than he appears hence more knowledgable about the force.

That cameo was actually Darth Tenebrous and not Darth Plagueis. It is evident because they made a point to cover his face from the nose down so as not to reveal his true identity. Also, Darth Plagueis would have a longer head.

I love how when Qimir's former master senses him in the Force, he acts like Jason Mendoza realizing a scheme has just gone south. "Later homies".
@therealmarkg171
@therealmarkg171 Ай бұрын
The scene was nonsensical. Qimir saw the ship and outright told Sol the ship was there for Sol, not him. He knows more Jedi are here and that his cover's still good as they're tracking Sol, not him, but then nonsensically let's his cover be blown by letting Vernestra sense him. Qimir's been able to hide his force powers with or without his helmet, there's zero reason Vernestra should sense him unless he's just waving around his force powers for anybody to sense at the moment. At minimum all he had to do was put his helmet back on and prevent it. It was dumb and done only so Headland could "reveal" what everybody already suspected which was that Qimir was Vernestra's former pupil. Which winds up having zero bearings on anything as Vernestra instead blames Sol for everything instead of just blaming Qimir who actually was behind it and she knew was there.

1) How did the senate find out about Jedi dying but not the High Council? 2) Why is the senate talking to Vernestra at all? Does she lead the high council now? All the Jedi? 3) What was that ridiculous Plagueis cameo? It makes no sense! Was he there all along? 4) Why did Sol go into the asteroids? Why not just follow her outside of it? 5) Why was Sol targetting her? Was he going to shoot her down? 6) Why did Basil rip those cords out? 7) Why didn’t Sol just kill Qimir? 8) How the fk did OSHA bleed the crystal that fast without a problem? This almost KILLED Darth Vader!! 9) Where did OSHA’s force powers come from all of a sudden? 10) Why did Sol give up to OSHA? She pulled a Sabine SUDDENLY being super powerful? If she had the power all along then why could she not pull PIP to her on the prison transport? 11) Why is the senate having a conversation with Vernestra about the Jedi? Why are they not speaking to the high council? 12) Why did Mae let herself get captured? What did that do for them? 13) Why did Vernestra solidify the senates belief that the Jedi can go bad with her lie? How does that "protect" the Jedi? 14) How did the high council NOT know that Vernestra was full of shit? 15) Am I suppose to believe all the Jedi that know the truth also chose to lie to the High Council? There are at least a dozen Jedi ALONE in the situation room watching Mae (not Sol) kill the Jedi. None of them talked? They ALL kept the secret?? 16) Mae spends 16 years feeding on hate and then suddenly does good? 17) OSHA spends 16 years being good and then suddenly becomes evil? 18) Why would Qimir all of a sudden be Dr Love to Osha? 19) How the fk can Yoda be a part of this lie? 20) If Qimir can wipe a persons mind with the flick of a wrist then why not ALWAYS do that? Why fight at all if you can just revert anyone to the age of 1? How was this powerful ability so easy to do? 21) How come the Jedi can sometimes sense people and sometimes need a tracker? 22) How did OSHA power the elevator? The power supply for that facility blew up 16 years prior! She didn't have an alternate power source so HOW?? Where did the power come from? What the fk did I just watch???? Regarding your review... Ryan... 1) Vernestra did NOT frame Sol to "protect the Jedi Order". Telling the Senate that their fears are REAL does not protect the Jedi, it weakens them. She did it to protect herself and you know it! 2) You said that we see who Vernestra was reporting to "the entire time" but you know that's bullshit too! She specifically said that she was going to keep it from the High Council (you claim Yoda himself ordered her to keep it from the council without a single shread of proof to that) and had she been reporting to Yoda 'the whole time' then she wouldn't have anything to tell him at the end? He'd already know. 3) Yoda did keep things from the Senate in the past but NEVER from the High Council. What are you talking about? 4) The fight between Qimir and Sol was well done, I must admit, but the fight between OSHA and Mae was ridiculous. If you watch, not a single strike is intended to hit the opponent. They're just hitting each others strikes. 5) Why do you keep implying that Sol did something evil? The witch turned into a dark cloud, demon looking spirit (with sharp teeth) and appeared to be absorbing Mae (who Sol thought was OSHA). How can you NOT see he was reacting to protect and not to murder? YES, he should of done any number of things other than go lethal but there is no denying he did it as a protective measure and not an evil move! 6) Vernestra "might" be up to no good? MIGHT BE?? She LITERALLY lied to the council AND the senate. She IS up to no good! 7) Qimir tells Mae she cannot kill a Jedi with a weapon and yet the 1st Jedi she kills was with a weapon? Explain? 8) All us 'continuity hawks' are still right! Ki Adi Mundi KNEW the Jedi were killed by an assassin and NOT by Sol so he's STILL lying in TPM. How do you NOT see that? 9) Ryan... Vernestra's chair looks NOTHING like Emperor Palpatines... come on man! 10) If Qimir is not a Sith then WHY would Lesley Headland say this is a show about THE SITH? ANd if Qimir IS a Sith then why the hell is he being so NICE!? That's not how the dark side works! Ryan... MAKE IT MAKE SENSE and stop the shill antics bro!

I think most questions you raise in Part one of your comment section are fair. No one has ever said this show is perfect. I think your weakest arguments are in points 8 and 10 of your reply to Ryan’s view are the weakest. Just because the ‘assassin’ kills Jedi does not make them a Sith. It was Mae, and, who knows, she might become a Jedi? Venestra says at the end that ‘she wants to make this right’. Does Mae become a Jedi? In which case would Ki Adi Mundi still not be right in what he says?? Even when OSHA kills Sol, she’s not a Sith. As to point 10, is this not a show about the emergence of the Sith. I am also reminded that Palpatine was ‘so nice’ to Anakin as he groomed him. The same might be happening here. Good comments but I just wanted to make some observations. I’m hoping that the $180m budget was for two seasons - because there should be no way on Hell’s Earth this first season should have cost $180m to make, in my view.

@@craigoliver7723 Fair counter points. According to Ryan though, the flying through the ice scene apparently shows where the money went... I know the assassin killing Jedi doesn't make her a Sith but what I'm saying is that a room full of people saw that video and it was CLEARLY not Sol doing the killing so I'm wondering if Vernestra's entire enclave is lying with her or what? If they are well... Ki Adi Mundi is also part of that lie now. I can by a Jedi or 2 going dark but an entire enclave of them?? Makes little sense.

I could be wrong but I feel like this show was like specifically designed to be watched one episode at a time like most weekly released shows AND to be watched all over again back to back in a binge session. Because I chose to rewatch every single episode before watching the finale and I personally feel like it made the show so SO much more enjoyable overall. You almost get even more/better context from previous episodes simply by having knowledge gained from later episodes. Like the scene where The Stranger cuts down a forest full of Jedi, knowing he couldn't see a f**king thing, imo, makes that scene so much cooler.

Yeah so Palpatine is a human. He wouldn't be alive. They can't retcon that because it's established lore in the sequels. It's literally the plot. He has a human lifespan and wants to live longer. If he was born earlier, that means by the culmination of the entire series, he was quite literally still on that quest. So how or why would it be Palpatine?

I feel Qimir might still start the Knights of Ren. He may be an acolyte to Plagueis, or even just an assassin like Ventriss was for Dooku. Qimir might be thought to be dead, but comes back and starts the KoR. Plagueis will use Osha (and maybe Mae) to figure out how to make his own vergence in the force. Really good episode, and series, leaving us with a lot of questions.

In legends the only way Luke could defeat lady lumiya who has a lightwhip was with a shoto. I suspect that’s why Qimir has one. You see he uses the helmet to hide himself from his former master Vern. If he ever wanted to defeat her with her lightwhip he’ll need a shoto.

Mae being told to feed on her anger when she was a kid led to her setting the coven on fire and killing everyone. She had a lot of regrets and this probably kept her from really being able to stray into anger again. So she had trouble to pass the tests to join the Sith. Osha on the other hand never got to cope with that because the Jedi doesn't allow them to experience emotions, teachings she still held on to after she left.

Because Mae & Osha are the same person.... They have an affinity for the dark side and the only reason why Mae was stronger than Osha in the beginning was because she was tapping into the dark side. When Osha started tapping into the dark side she became way stronger. She couldn't become a Jedi because her power was in her emotions which the Jedi teach you to suppress. Also they gave you hints that Osha & Mae were sharing skills/abilities. Osha picked up Mae's fighting style without ever being taught it and Mae picked up Osha's mechanic abilities with the robot, the door, etc.

I can appreciate that some people like the content produced by Disney, but I also understand how Disney is destroying what many fans loved about Star Wars. It's like their content is wearing a Star Wars costume, but it's definitely an imposter. Sometimes, depending on who heads the content, it actually feels like Star Wars, but then it's forced to tie into the stuff that doesn't. If you truly don't understand, think of a favorite IP from your childhood--going back decades--then imagine the IP is sold, and the new owners throw away most of that fictitious world you grew up experiencing, so that they could do whatever they wanted with that world. Being optimistic, you might say 'ok, let's give them a chance to retell the history of that world'. Then the new owners took that opportunity to crap all over the characters, and established lore, that you loved about that fictitious world...and there was nothing you could do about it, except yell STOP! PLEASE STOP! You might think that, because they didn't have a problem tossing out decades of lore, that they would hear their fans, and then course-correct--nope, instead they tell you that YOU are the bad person for not liking their story. I know Star Wars isn't the only IP to receive this treatment--many stories have been retold many different ways--but Star Wars was special to so many--no one thought it would receive the 'hey, you know what we should do?... (insert idea that's not born from the story, but from an agenda, goal, or the desire to subvert expectations)" treatment--as if the characters and lore didn't matter. To be clear though, no one wants to not like Star Wars anymore. I remember not liking 'The Force Awakens', but people were optimistic, saying we just have to wait for the sequel. Honestly, I don't know why they felt that way, it just wasn't good Star Wars, but just in case I was wrong, I hit the theater for the opening night of 'The Last Jedi'. I was face-palming through that entire movie...it was cringe-inducing. I don't remember a single moment of the audience cheering or anything. When I left the theater that night...I knew. Star Wars would never be the same experience ever again, it was something else--something meant to destroy my childhood memories I guess--but over the years I realised I don't have to accept this stuff as Star Wars...it quite obviously isn't. What I experienced up until the IP was sold--THAT'S STAR WARS--this stuff is a poor imitation that no longer receives any financial support from me. It is amusing now to see just how bad it continues to spiral though...I guess that's something.

It's what Palpatine also does to survive by creating clones of himself he can essence transfer to, why he wants to take over Rey who's his genetic grand daughter and therefore compatible with him, and how he manipulated Snoke who was a failed but still Force powerful clone of himself. Let alone all the Mandalorian and cartoon story arcs related to this same genetic midichlorian manipulations that all stems from Plagueis' experiments on the midichlorians themselves. It is BEYOND lore breaking to switch this up to what the show seems to be instead implying that Plagueis instead just somehow learned about some witches pulling on "Force threads" by a vergence could manipulate life. Especially given the Plagueis cameo occurs before Osha ever even knew she'd been created using the Force so he can't have learned it then either.

@@therealmarkg171 I would bet he gave the location of Brendok and the ritual the witches used to Mother Aniseya to have them perform the experiment for him. If you read his book, you would know this is exactly the kind of manipulation Plagueis would pull. He loves working in the shadows, manipulating others to do what he wants without them ever knowing. I would not be surprised if Qimir was one of the many apprentices Plagueis had his eyes on.

Maybe Qimir can escape their duel and become the first Knight of Ren. Maybe his sith name is 'Darth Ren'. Would be interesting.
