Step inside the pitch meeting that led to Wonder Woman 1984!
Subscribe for more Pitch Meetings: goo.gl/ho3Hg6
Wonder Woman was received as one of the best DCEU movies when it came out in 2017, so naturally Warner Bros wanted Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Patty Jenkins to make a sequel. That sequel comes three years later in the form of Wonder Woman 1984, which in a historic first for a massive superhero blockbuster - came out on streaming at the same time as in theatres!
Wonder Woman 1984 movie definitely raises some questions. Like why did Steve Trevor return through some random guy? Why are they using this man’s body for anything they like? Why is there a fully-fueled jet lying around at the Smithsonian and how does Steve Trevor know how to fly it? How does Diana know how to make it invisible? How did Wonder Woman get her lasso around Max Lord? How did literally everyone renounce their wishes? How did nobody wish the world to immediately end? What exactly is the message of this movie?!
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Wonder Woman 1984! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

But it is not Impossible movie in powers woman because realistic is speaking you cannot defend a whole unit of European soldiers because they just conquered people who where not using guns very easily and divided the ocntinen in 1908 without being a god because she is a Greek or Roman Thor So not empowering Humans and people thinking the God of war because they did not install heart of a god they even grow it I could use he was a man to all that talk about men plus the end woman was a woman and was not a good person so she would be more surprised if it was a mortal. Like why the woman at the end was spared is because the hero sllik everyone except the end person. Because this type of movie, the whole point of this movie, is that because when you sllik the cause everything that's done in the movie automatically get undone. So, if people wishes for more weapons when you declare war, even if you can do all those weapons, since the cause of the war is because they had no weapons, the war will automatically be undone, which doesn't make sense but like, also, if, in the first movie, she fought the God of War whispered for humanity to be evil. Even if you llik a human's god of war in this low god of war, no matter how many god of war you llik, those will be war, because the hands already been done. And that's a real thing in the movie. And we're thinking about the body of someone else, to revive someone to the stuff that happening the bed. Basically, all of that has been done, even if she wasn't wished. Plus, there have been some murders that stop like even if you automatically wish that not that that didn't happen. It doesn't mean the war would stop. Because there's a bunch of nukes that have already been sent And in the movie logicthe person will be revived so everything that person has done will be undone on the person wishes for weapon weapon that they hurt someone it will be undone because he would still go to jail even the body Steve posted because if you think about it because the point of these movies is that if you renounced a lie the consequences will also be renounced by it may take time because he renounced his wishes at the end of the consequences stay wouldn't he renounced his wishes before the end?

Am I really the only one who doesn’t have a problem with the movie’s message. You can’t magically wish for all the bad things in life to go away because the world isn’t fair. It’s sad but you have to live with the circumstances of your life and make the best of it.
@ZeonEons
@ZeonEons 3 жыл бұрын
@@prestigev6131 Doesn't work. That's the problem with that message. Abused kids cannot make the most of their unhappy, violent & in some cases short lives. Message only works if it tackles money and material objects, aspirations etc. Ofc the movie only wants us to think in those terms. I can think of a lot more evil in the world where wishes would never be revoked by the person who's now been saved by it. But the movie needs everyone to comply by the heart warming Diana speech, to revoke their wish & ofc like any good hallmark show, they do.
@LD1E60
@LD1E60 3 жыл бұрын
@@prestigev6131 It's easy to say that when your life allows you to "make the best of it". Abused kids, families dying of starvation and war victims can't just "make the best of it". The message only works if the biggest problems in your life are "I can't date the dude I want to date" or "man life would be better if I just had an extra 50 million dollars". It's a very shallow movie with a decent (although cliche) message that was terribly executed.

In the first movie, she was told that if she left then she could never go back home. To me, this story would have been much better if she had wished she could go back home to Themescyra and then when her wish is granted, the downside is that it opens that world up to the outside world and then her home is invaded. So, she has to renounce her wish, even though it means that once again, she would never be able to see her mom or her fellow Amazonians. But she renounces it, knowing that she has to in order to keep the people she loves most safe. ...But then again, if you went that route then you couldn't have Chris Pine back :/

@Zac White That's the biggest issue I had with this movie. Because in JL Bruce Wayne was all like Diana all you've done since Steve died is hide away and yet here she is stopping a catastrophic world wide event. I mean am I supposed to believe there were no conspiracy theories, no rumors, no speculation about this?!! Seriously?!!!
@FalconOfStorms

@@honeybee4016 stopping a catastrophic worldwide event while fighting battles in broad daylight with very shiny and impossible not to see golden armor with massive eye-catching wings. I guess the idea is that everyone but Diana and Max Lord lose their memories of all this when the wishes are renounced. Even though that's never explained, we're just supposed to assume or something. Assuming vital plot points is TIGHT
