For me personally, i am making a pixel game so even if i used sine waves to calculate shake it would not look much different than random pos, since the largest my camera moves is a couple pixels. However i agree with your dampening over time and have applied a curve that i controls in the editor that is multiplied by the base magnitude which is a really small number like .001

Note that camera shake is one of the causes of simulation sickness. If you're going to include it, add the ability to disable it in your accessibility options.

It would be usefull to have an option to shake rectTransform aswell, to animate UI.

Can you show how you would implement the camera shake for an enemy walking?

Will this work with blended State Driven Cameras? Because that is why I currently favor Cinemachine Impulse driven camera shake.
