For those wishing to know what actually happened to Sam Lovegrove, towards the end of his final series his health started to deteriorate and he was advised to take some time away from from the TV production schedule to recuperate. Although quite rare, the condition is well known amongst performers, actors and throughout the creative arts industry. It starts with mild flu like symptoms and can lead to extreme fatigue and despondency. Doctors first became aware of In patere cacas, in the early days of broadcasting, when cast members of the '50s US show 'I love Lucy' began to complain of tiredness and headaches on set. Further research demonstrates that In patere cacas is not unusual, especially for those involved in regular TV appearances, such as sitcoms, soaps and more formulaic media. Anyway, I'm sure we all wish Sam well

Is this video primarily a show for us Brits? If so, why on earth does the narrator mention Sam's wealth in Dollars? Sam's wealth is his business not ours. I can tell you, that when I've been across the pond, I've never ever heard the yanks talk about anything in 'Pounds'. We use Pounds here not dollars so stick to that!

Not sure if the bug bite story is true. He was involved in a number of projects which occupied his time and made him more money. If it was a bug bite, well, Cornwall isn't known for its dangerous insect stock. It could be Lyme's disease which can be easily caught in the South West region.

What a load of old "Shite!" This has absolutelty no insight as to why Sam is no longer with the show, other than a, "medical episode with an insect." Whoever is narrating this, does it very well. However, the whole episode is "cut" and "shut," with no pre-thought to the finished clip. (My mother did better with a bloody Cine Super 8 on our summer holidays, way back in the 60's! No cut an shut there, unless you were rich! Also. If I see that phuqing 98cc Excelsior Consort, once more! By the way, Andy Tiernan had the bent frame straightened. Professionally.) The man Sam, is an Engineer. A highly skilled professional within the automotive world. This KZfaq clip needs "binning." Best wishes Sam.
