So…. Now I’m organizing the screwdriver drawer of my new Epiq toolbox and I ordered a BUNCH of Toolbox Widgets to get the job done. I’m also comparing them to an old video I did using the toolgrid system. You guys be the judge of which ones you like more.
Get the Toolbox Widgets here: toolboxwidget.com
Use code RUSTBELT at checkout for 10% off
This is also a way to support the channel, I do get a small kickback on Toolbox Widgets
Thanks again for all the support!!

When you consider the cost of the box, storing the tools more efficiently is a big win.

it sounds like you've never had to move all your tools from one bay to another bay before...? keeping all your tools in ONE box is the only way us pros can work.

I don't use any toolbox organization systems except socket rails. Gave up on that a while ago. I've bought so many tools, they hold themselves in place like puzzle pieces.

I’ll be looking into that system again I tried it in the past and like you say for wrenches it’s best to use two per wrench 🔧 thank you

All my tools except my sockets are organized by toolbox widgets. Used them for couple years now amazing! I am now just starting to outfit my socket drawer with them. Good luck with the box organization! They are 29.99 CDN per box for me to order them.

Hello again Rustbelt Mechanic Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I've moving to the Toolbox Widgets from foam for my organization. So far I have organized my wrenches and screwdrivers. Pliers and sockets are next. I definitely agree with you they are worth the price. When you get to organizing the rest of your box, I hope you will post another video. Again thank you 😊 I have a suggestion for you. In some of my work I have to have my tool etched and inventoried. Even the tool location has to be marked. This way, the tool is Identified, in addition to the missing tool indicator. Again thank you 😊

I just finished redoing my entire tool box in tool grid, it is by no means cheap, and the setup is a real pain. I can see your point in the tool widgets being easier to set up and being more user friendly with the hooked ends, as I had to get creative myself. I would have to see the rest of the line in action before saying it was a superior product across the board, as I wonder about the pliers. With you turning the screwdrivers sideways you took away any issues with the drawer closing moving the screwdrivers forward and backwards, if the magnet was not enough to hold the tool in place. The downside on tool grid is something you don't consider that the grid itself raises tools that small amount and some tools no longer fit in drawers they did before vertically.

Can we get a detailed look at the locker and side cabinet for your box? Beautiful color combo. I’m considering ordering a locker or side cab but haven’t seen either in person and not quite sure which I’d rather have. Thanks!

I noticed that you mentioned that one thing you didn’t like about the tool grid was that they kept sliding and and having to screw them down just to hold, and I I agree but not sure if you’ve seen the the new pegs with rubber and now your able to insert the pegs without having to screw them first.

To be fair with tool grid you can just always lay it out with out screwing them down till you like it. I find the tool grid system to be far superior just my opinion

Hello again Rustbelt Mechanic Question for you about the Toolbox Widgets Organizers. Now that you have had them in your box a short time. Have you experienced Lessons Learned. Things like, I wish I saw that earlier;) How has the Widgets changed the way you use your tools etc. For the better is what I experienced. I am enjoying watching your channel. Again thank you 😊

I’ve had the widgets in other boxes before as well for the wrenches and have absolutely loved them. I haven’t changed anything or run into any odd things even after making this video. Everything still stays in place and I love the missing tool indicators the most because there’s always that one tool I forget to put away that’s hiding somewhere lol!
