I also just wanted to put a pinned comment here and I'll make a little video explaining, I've had it confirmed from the devs that it is a 100% chance of a script from each type of DAILY per day and any subsequent types of that DAILY will be 25%. This means you can get up to 9 guaranteed scripts per day through this. Any questions please ask.

Having already completed the scribing questline for my main character I still found this video very informative and helpful. I found I only needed to watch until 2.45 to find out exactly what I needed to know. Thanks. Great work!

Great info, didn't know where to go after completing the questline. I since have seen that a lot of lore books around the Scholarium do mention a lot of the things in this video. I need to take time to read I suppose lol.

Thank you so much for helping lessen the agony of this...at least a little 😂 One fairly significant segment of the MMO audience is deeply averse to being told what to do, where to go, and so forth. Thus questlines like Psijic Order and THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR can be as close to excrutiating as gaming can get. 😉

WAIFU iMAC - wow, that was some run down... my head is still spinning, but very informative... appreciate the frank assessment of scribing not being "meta" but really boosting the MID game experience... just wish I was that player - but I have 10 characters, all end-game... play all 3 factions in Cyrodiil, solo... so, not sure if I am really that motivated to grind out scribing.

Haha, thats fair. and yeah sorry I talk really fast and I'm gunna try working on slowing down a bit on future videos. What I can tell you is the grinding isn't actually that bad. It turns out you can get up to 9 guaranteed scripts a day. One from each type of daily. Thats like basically completed in a week. (granted you'd have to do the corresponding quests to unlock the daily drops) I'd say though, don't grind it, it won't be long and we will all have it. Just keep doing what you enjoy and hopefully this builds on it later :)

Okay. SO maybe it's just me at night, tired and just not seeing things, but where in my characters menu, can I actually see the scripts I've already unlocked/learned. I go to the giant crystal, and it only shows me the grimoire is have unlocked to make skills from. I can't seem to find anything that just shows me that scripts themselves that I've unlocked.

So couple things, when you select one of those grimoires it will show you the current scripts you have unlocked that are compatible with that script. Short of achievements I haven’t been able to find a way to track them to character specifics outside of an add on. The add on “script tracker” does just that, also tells you where to find them and tracks them to the character. Just type /str in your chat box once it’s successfully installed. Is it limited once per account for the dailies on alt characters?

So first one is 100% per type then its 25% for any dailies of that type for the rest of the day. This part is account wide. So in theory you can keep going on alts all day and each subsequent daily of that type has a 25% chance That said I think you can “only” do 50 dailies per toon per day. Does that help? 🙂

Yup, just do the very first quest “a second era of scribing” once that quest is completed your done and have full access. :) from there you can just come and go as you like.
