A new subscriber here! There are so many great resources provided by the church in order for one to deepen our knowledge, testimony and faith. I'm grateful to learn of your content and as others have mentioned, I love how you are actually showing and reading from the scriptures. Thank you and God bless you for ministering in this way.

I love the artwork you share in your lessons. I teach some of the younger children in Primary, and I’m able to show them your artwork as I tell the stories. It really helps them to stay focused and to understand the stories better. Thank you for all you do! My husband and I watch your podcasts each week and gain a better understanding of the material.

Ruth was pretty enough to got a spouse close in her age, but is wise to enter into a marriage to a rightious man, over youth

Although we can learn from Eli's bad example concerning his sons, I don't want to condemn him because of how he had raised Samuel. He effectively coached Samuel in how to be a bold prophet by telling him how to answer the or when the Lord calls, and taught him (by insisting that Samuel tell him everything the Lord said, no matter no matter how unpleasant, then accepting the answer) to be bold and fearless in saying everything that the Lord tells him to share.

I was watching how many countries have been turning desert into farmland. They have a pivot system so that the crops are grown in massive circles. That means there are no crops in the corners that would be for the poor. I think it’s a type showing that we don’t care for our poor very well.

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books.

If Hannah's adversary was Peninnah, wouldn't she have continually teased or persecuted Hannah throughout the year, rather than just at the feast? My husband and I figured that it may have been some unknown, unnamed person who lived near the tabernacle, or who only saw Hannah at that time of year, who knew Hannah's circumstances and looked down on her for it. I believe that Peninnah was innocent.

Another fantastic lesson! I loved learning more about Ruth and Hannah, two very strong women. Also, I think your video re the making of the Bible is truly exceptional, and the in-depth research must have taken a long time to put together in a cohesive piece (that even I understood!). I think it is the most comprehensive piece on the history and making of the Bible. You guys rock!

I love your episodes and my wife and I tune in every week. I have one request. Can you please try to pronounce biblical names properly. In this episode you mentioned Elimelech but you pronounced it Elimeleck. All ‘ch’s’ are pronounced with the hard H as in Loch or Reich and as Shadrach and Meshech. Now if your ancestry is English you might have inherited a speech impediment which would make it impossible (Sorry…. Scottish Joke). Keep up the good work. Rob McGhie San Antonio, Tx

Judging how names and their meanings seem to be very important to the Israelites, I'm very puzzled as to why on earth anyone would choose to call their sons Disease and Destruction???? 🤔🤔 Thanks for another great lesson. 👍
