Seemingly calm and even naive, it is actually dark, and some moments are just heart-ripping. "House Of The Rising Sun" is quite similar to it. Well, both are folk songs, and those know how to touch strings in your soul.

That's because the Tyrells are master manipulators, they are the ones who ceded Highgarden to Aegon, hence the latter chose them over the many other High Lords of the Reach that are offsprings of House Gardener. It's unknown where are the Varner lands, and besides that, nothing much can be said about them. I say it at the end of the video. There's a lot of houses, but either we do not know where are their fiefs, or there's just not much to talk about. Vyrwels, whose seat is Darkdell, are not among marcher lords. Marcher lords are: House Tarly of Horn Hill, House Peake of Starpike, House Caron of Nightsong, House Dondarrion of Blackhaven, House Selmy of Harvest Hall, and House Swann of Stonehelm... they may be sworn to one of the marcher lords though, but I don't remember such thing. And since they are sworn directly to Tyrells - I doubt that. But, if you have some info - share it please.

House Varner is one of the more important houses of the reach, they are of andal descent and their fiefs are along the mander. They actually appear in the books, rather than being an obscure house like half of the houses of the reach. You should look at The World of Ice and Fire book and see the locations... You say Dark Dell isn't in the marches but you have no source for your claim. I do, The World of Ice and Fire encyclopedia. There are much more houses from the marches, both from stormlands and the reach. I'm not trying to pester you, just debating and trying an argument. As i said before, you're video is still pretty good.

That army INCLUDES numbers from all bannermen, including the Tarlys. And "where were they"? Not marshaled yet, obviously. Working their fields. Still within sight of their lesser lords manor houses. Soldiers are not dolls to be organized and left on a shelf.

They are the Tyrells bannerman (eg Tarly, Fosseway) So most of the Reach's force. If the Tyrells had 70,000 troops alone by themselves. Then the Army of the reach would be over 500K+. And another thing to note is that soldiers aren't always there. They have lives too and it takes time to assemble them. A general rule is for every middle-class working family of 7. Can field one man.

We don't know how many men were on the ships that Euron intercepted, apart from the actual naval forces I assume the ships were carrying lots of Tyrell/Redwyne/other vassals soldiers. Lots of houses in the Reach might have retracted their troops after that loss, waiting like Walder Frey during the Battle of the Trident to see if their liege lord was indeed on the winning side. Tyrell leadership was fading obviously, with only Olenna alive what did the bannermen have to fight for anyway? Most of them probably were looking at each other wondering who to support as future Lord Paramount, or if strong enough, how to best promote themselves as an alternative. Of course this complexity is not captured on screen, that would be rather confusing and time-consuming, but it seems reasonable to me.

They have a shit load of money, plenty of manpower, adequate resources on-isle, and necessity/motive in defending their island from constant Ironborn raids and pirates.

That doesnt make sense, how the hell do they have the resources from such a relatively small island and if they do what stops the Lannister from having a fleet 10 times bigger?

I suppose, that if one is making wine, he has to ship it. Wine takes more space than gold, so you need more ships to transport wine, than gold, or silver, like Lannisters do. And because of pirates those ships are battle ships, not just merchant vessels.

They have the resources because GRRM made it so... what else do you want me to say? The island is quite fertile, full of forests and meadows and shit. Plus nobody's stopping the incredibly wealthy House Redwyne from importing resources.

You don´t have to say anything, if something doesn´t make sense there is no need for you to justify it. You know that writers can write inconsistent stories and worldbuilding? The justification you gave really don´t reach(pun not intented) the amount of income and people the island can realistically have, literally the rest of the Reach is fertile too, and apparently in places even more. I´d like to think the Redwyne fleet is simply most of the Reach fleet that is just led by expert Redwyners.

When you go to movie theatre, you try to sit through all the length of the movie, even if its 3 hours. And what's different with these vids? I better have less subs, but passionate, then hundred times more and inactive.
