～ This Album ～
In terms of the game series, this installment is in the midway. But in Piano Collections, this is still an early work. You may sense it through both the recording and the arrangement. It really limit the presentation of Ogata's performance. It shouldn't be this, as you may compare to X-2. And for Hamaguchi, here the elaboration was kept quite away from his later IX and VII. Also the atmosphere and style among all 13 tracks could be more distinctive. Nevertheless, VIII has shown some evolution since VI or prior.
A note: this is the seventh album I've done for this project. I've an idea and decided the order for later albums. From the sixth one, in number the order would be "4 8 12 5 9 13 6 10 7 11" - figure out a pattern - and represents IV VIII XI(Premium Box) V IX XI VI X VII X-2.

～ About the Project ～
There are many people here who do play the piano. To these people, these piano arrangements then doesn't only worth at listening to, but also reading the score. At least for me, I enjoy reading the score while listening to them very much. I can look at what's exactly going on in the music.
Since there is no one doing the scrolling score presentation of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections / Opera series, I'm taking this project then. More coming soon!
