The fact that the eyes and mouth aren't just for aesthetic purposes and can actually be useful when cleaning different things is still so cool. The design of the sponge looks so simple, but it is so impressive.

All jokes aside, it’s pretty amazing what this little sponge can do. I mean, there haven’t been a lot of products nowadays that are both memorable and effective at the same time. For something as boring as a sponge, it’s crazy how successful this little thing was. This guy really knows what he’s doing.

Kinda crazy how good it works. I bought one after going through another pack of cheap sponges and it really works. I felt like I abused it and eventually I had to get another one because I never expected to use the kitchen sponge on anything besides dishes and countertops. I practically cleaned the entire kitchen with it.

My dad is a coal miner. He uses these things on his skin. I tried using them on my skin once, and it gave me carpet burn. 9/10-Great for washing dishes. Don't use on skin unless 90% of your body is essentially dirt and callous.

fun fact: this is the most successful product pitched on Shark Tank EDIT: After the 617th comment, I've learned it's actually RING (the doorbell cam that captures all those creepy videos) that is the most successful product PITCHED. Scrub Daddy was the most successful product the Sharks chose to INVEST in. Is everyone happy now? Good.

I believe it. Its the only sponge my mom buys. It literally will never smell or barely have a tiny faint hint of a smell but it usually washes after use. Only issue we found was it tends to start flaking after a month or 2 of use

@@injwan6362 i just broke down the business model to explain why. They only have to sell 16 of these a day to sustain their business. Best i can evaluate. They most likely charge an 800% upcharge. Which is insane. Since these are chemically unstable products. They will not only force you to buy more. People will enjoy the gimmick. If they sell 32 of these a day? Nation wide. I mind you. Thats 48,000$ in revenue. 64? 96,000$. Thats little over one sponge sold per state. Imagine one sold every store?! These products are so grossly over evaluated. That people cant understand just how cheap these sponges should cost. .50$ a sponge is what it should cost. If they even chose to halve the price? They’d never sell more. As the customer base is now stabilized. So people will either the. Buy two. Which then the market doesnt change. If they expand into more localities. Thats then one person trying one. Buying the premium. And that then doubles the profit margin at the premium price. Before it settles back to loyalty in the locality. Before then the prices drop from less desire in the market. Where then loyal customers buy in bulk... Very clever. N im shocked it worked. But this is a product targeted at consumers that cant comprehend any of this. Because 50% will buy it for the smily face. And 50% will try it because they actually want and need a superior sponge. The upper 50% then stabilize their sales because no other sponges are this cutesy...

@@treatb09 The sponges last an incredibly long time, with almost daily use I can get 2 months out of one. Other sponges suck after a couple of uses. Plus, they have a recycling rewards program.

@@treatb09 You are severely underestimating the amount of money it cost to run a business. Not only do you have to pay for the machines to produce this product, you also have to pay people living wages to package these sponges, pay for the storage space and shipping fees. There’s also the margin for the distributors and stores that have to make a profit. At the end of it, they are making way less per sponge than you think they’re making. Of course, you’re welcome to prove your theory and make your own sponges at half the price. Since you “only have to sell 16” to make it sustainable, I’m sure you won’t have much trouble.

The way the Scrub Daddy winks at you is simply wholesome. Love how passionate this guy is. It doesn't take long to see why this is the product with the highest revenue to come out of Shark Tank. It's a simple but genius and effective idea! It motivated me to face Cynthia...her team can't demolish you when you can simply scrub them out of existence.

No clue why the YT algorithm caught this one, but it's cool to see how this product started out. Nice hustle without YELLING ABOUT HOW GREAT THIS LITTLE SMILING DUDE CLEANS YOUR PANS! I started using this on my bathroom tiles after my buddy recommended it about a year ago, it's great for hard water stains. Now I want to get one for the kitchen.

My mom used to buy these sponges from target, and I would notice that they started falling apart after about a month or two. I introduced her to the scrub daddy, we bought 1 together and she started using it. She said she really really like it, except it would also fall apart quick, do to the face. So then i introduced her to the sponge daddy, she loves it so much. Thanks for inventing such a amazing brand/sponge

This is genuinely an amazing product. I found them in stores here in Sydney, Australia, and now I love them. Both the Scrub Daddy and the Scrub Mommy are fantastic. Buying regular sponges is a waste of money IMO. These easily last 5x as long. They’re a little more expensive, but they make up for it in strength, quality, and definitely smell. You can’t smell them like regular sponges. They deserve every dollar they make.

I ran across these sponges while in Walgreens one day last year, my instinct just said “hey, just buy one of those for your cleaning business, just try it!” So, I tried it! I must say that they work like a dream! It throughly scrubs and cleans without damaging nice surfaces! I wAs impresses. They’re my new fave sponge 😀

I remember the scrub daddy. I loved it when i saw the owner say "It's Scrubbin Time", as he started to scrub. It reminded me a lot of the "Morbin Time" scene from the Hit-Movie, Morbius, which is the movie of all time.

Okay im not gonna lie, iv seen this product in the shops especially in kitchen stores and where I buy my equipment for baking, its like the only sponge they ever sell and gosh damn after seeing this ad I am just gonna go buy one. I think my Mum would love it especially with how her sponge tends to scratch newer pots and she’s very nervous about cleaning the new countertop I also just love this advert, the guys energy is purely positive, he has that charisma that just makes you wanna say yes to whatever he’s selling

So up until this video I seriously thought the main selling point was the mouth as the spoon scrubber and it was just an ordinary sponge. But I’m so impressed how it changes functionality with the temperature of the water, leaves no scratches, and the eyes are for your fingers to reach to hard-to-reach areas of dishes. Oh and the potato peeling just blew me away. Genius
