@@footballhighlights3045 imo Kano was almost as important to grime as Wiley was in the scheme of things, but Wiley was the first to make grime profitable in a time when everyone just saw grime as "Street music for street people". Wiley is the godfather for a reason, but there's guys like Kano, Chip, Skepta, JME ect that really helped push the understanding of what grime is about at it's core, not just a platform for street guys to talk badness.

Yo I used to have to wait for KZfaq to always show me something new from Kano! Because when the internet was young and I was broke. I couldn't afford on that downloads and MP3 players and stuff. Didn't know much about computer. but now man, stuffing more easy accessible I always kept Kano in my library on the playlist in my favorites. Man it's crazy how this freestyling interview just blew up. Now I'm going back watching some old videos of Kano and just watching the number climb up. Especially that freestyle battle he had with Wiley.
