It seems that among the truck manufacturers, Scania, Renault, and DAF are the ones that have a very good relationship with SCS. Hopefully, in the future, more electric truck models from truck manufacturers such as Volvo and Mercedes will be added to the game by SCS.

Since they are already working on updating the Volvo and the Mercedes, it is easy to guess electric versions of those trucks are not far off after they release the updated models.

There is also an Electric DAF and MAN coming, electric trucks are basically coming from all brands except Iveco.

Yeah, that's not going to happen, maybe to the old MAN TGX when they do a possible tuning pack, MAYBE, but Renault obviously doesn't care about their old trucks and Iveco isn't really in talking terms with SCS, you can hope all you want but some things are just not possible.

SCS or Iveco? Most of the time is related to licenses and SCS can't do much on that. The brands are the ones who allow or not the companies to use their products in the games.

Don't blame SCS for that, blame Iveco, there is nothing SCS can do about that if Iveco doesn't want to give them a license to add the truck, in the past few years Iveco has changed hands (owners) a few times and that makes getting a license very hard.

This reminds me of a video you guys made recording truck sounds from 10 years ago. What is the name of the man who was always setting up a microphone and wearing headphones to observe the recording equipment? I'm glad to see him again! I remember playing demos of various SCS games in 2012-2013. I'm going to buy 4 older games from SCS during the Steam sale this summer (Bus Driver, ETS 1, Truck & Trailer, and Scania Truck Driving Simulator) to refresh my memories and enjoy more content. The Scania Demo Center holds many memories for me!

I love the electric Scania, even if we can currently only drive it via the quick jobs. Please don't let the negative voices in the community unsettle you, mobility worldwide is currently undergoing an ever faster transformation towards e-mobility and it's cool that you're already starting to reflect this in the simulator!

Newsflash. All of the trucks in this game run entirely on electricity. No Diesel is necessary to drive these unless your house is using a diesel generator for electricity.

I love to see E-Trucks in the Game. But its sad that you cant own there. Can you put Charging Station´s in Garage´s to Charge them and make them so to owneble Vehicles? I know that in this way you can only Charge youre Vehicle when you have a own Garage in the City where youre arraving but for the beginning its better than nothing, or am i wrong?

It's just a mistake, maybe when the stations are ready for the electrics, I doubt that they will modify some things and launch the trucks without any mistake.

@@EzSergioMC It's not a mistake, it has a gearbox. The reason why is because it retains more torque this way, and doesn't need to spin up too fast. It'll still deliver the same amount of power, just more efficiently.

All electric trucks are not built equally, the 12 speed gearbox is just how Renault and Volvo decided to do their electric trucks, all the other brands are different, i believe the Scania can have a 2, 4 or 6 speed gearboxes.

with agreement, the renault electric is so powerful that it beats scania in raw power. we will have to see this scania, which is said to be 610hp less than the renault electric, but who knows, maybe it will come with a better engine.

It's boring to drive a diesel truck in the game for a long time. It's nice to see SCS is electrifying their game by adding electric trucks. We should accept the fact that electric vehicles are the future of the world, and there is nothing wrong with SCS prioritizing adding electric truck models to the game. SCS doesn't force you to drive if you don't want to. So don't scream like those idiots every time electric vehicles are mentioned.

We are waiting for normal trucks with internal combustion engines. Such as the previously announced Volvo FH 2021. Better give the Scania S/R Super 560/770. Most players will travel for several days by train and transfer back to trucks with engines.

This article is for the programmers who record or encode sounds; I respect your efforts, but I have to say this. The engine sound suddenly stops when shifting gears or when we release the gas, and this is extremely disturbing. The engine sound should not go away suddenly. It should decrease gradually according to the speed. Please think about this.

Have you driven the new MAN TGX? The default SCS sound on that truck is actually very good, seems like he is learning to do sounds properly, same goes on the ATS side for the new Volvo VNL and the new International LT engines, things are improving.

Не верным путём шагаете господа в погоне за модой, в игре не место электричкам - поясню почему если у вас не хватает на это ума. Игра прежде всего дарит эмоции, а они состоят из визуальных и слуховых в первую очередь и влияют на управляемость скажем в автосимуляторе вы же отобрали звук мотора а по чём ориентироваться - по приборам, так давайте запустим ботов а сами лишь смотреть будим за происходящим. Буд то нет проблем в игре которыми стоило бы заняться нет вы как голые в баню куда то спешите оставляя позади коряво слепленную игру Очнитесь господа
