@@kimreinikainen SCS does not seem to update Iveco trucks anymore. Why? Iveco still has many fans and S-Way is a successful truck. The new 2024 model is even up to date in terms of engine and transmission, as well as the new digital dashboard with digital mirrors

@@petronny1Why don't you ask Iveco themselves? They are who refuse to give SCS a license to add it to the game, SCS can't just do whatever they want without a license.

@@joealex65 Iveco has every interest for its brand to remain popular. Iveco invests a lot of money in marketing for the new S-Way and S-eWay. This story that SCS does not have the license to bring the truck into the game is just rubbish. SCS does not make any efforts in this regard and misleads us with the fact that it would be involved in other projects

@@joealex65Iveco offers the license if asked. The proof that it does so are the two Stralis models that are currently looking very dusty in the library of the SCS. SCS does not prove that it has interests in IVECO. SCS always does only what it wants and permanently ignores the pressing wishes of the community. I really hope that in the shortest time I can watch a video sequence even here on KZfaq with a title similar to "Our Trip to Iveco Trucs".

Very curious how the charging infrastructure would work. The most game friendly way would be the current refuelling system, just slightly different. However that’s not all that realistic. A realistic way would be to park, plug in, and wait 15 minutes in real life, but that’s not that game friendly.

Unfortunately there's no answer to those questions yet since Renault has not publicly disclosed under which conditions the advertised range can be achieved or the weight of the truck by itself.

stop acting like youre recording sounds with 50 professional microphones cause they are still flat, inaccurate and pretty much boring. we all know youll reuse the default range t sounds and how do people like max2712, zeemods or kriechbaum make way better sounds alone than your whole audio team? take an example from them. very lazy studio, 1 hour of work daily and the rest are coffee breaks. most of the assets havent been touched since 2010 (converted from older scs games like ets 1, uk truck sim etc) but well, blind fanboys will love and pay for everything you do. you add content that modders have made 4-5 years ago like used truck dealer. if not mods this game would be really dead and unplayable

I agree, there are still scs fanboys out there who blindly support scs, ets 2 is a good game but it's too boring and I don't understand why scs people still deliberately ignore comments from the community. copper. alaskan roads truckers has even better gameplay than ets 2 and it only loses to ets 2 in real vehicle brands and vehicle details.

And ... have they finally allowed real engine sounds to be recorded and used in the game? In 2024? Or do yer trucks still sound like they were generated on an Atari and I still have to use my own recorded engine sounds, because you're not capable enough? I'm still flabbergasted at how a so-called truck simulator doesn't even have realistic engine sounds and physics, but needs to be massively modded to bring the most basic functions of a truck sim into the game. Abysmal. 🤦🏼‍♂👎🏼 Your fancy paint jobs are futile, they change exactly nothing, which would make me want to go back to this.... shite... that is then constantly ruined by updates after you've finally reached a state of the game where ye think, well, this sounds and feels like being in my own truck, only without the daily slog. Updates that never update what modders have programmed and put into the game, so you could finally save yerself all the necessary modding, nope, they update some asinine horseshite that then breaks all yer most essential mods and makes the game unplayable again, and then expect you to start over with the whole shebang? Nyahahaha! 🤬 Fed up, uninstalled, years ago. Get out! 🤜🏼🤕 👉🏼 There you go. Nice paintjob. That drives a game. Paintjobs. Go ahead, play with yer infantile customer base, there's still nothing to see or buy here for grown-ups who know what really matters in the transport business and how it's run.

Sad to see SCS just doing what they want and not what the Community asked for over years.... Having a party over a small Map DLC say's a lot about the team... Hopefully someone else will give us a real good trucking simulator in the future with more trucks and things to do instead only driving in circles

Just Look at the Updates from Beam-NG and there new Trucks, fifth-wheel use and other great stuff to feel more like a Sim-Trucker and get things to do instead of driving only in circles with nothing else to do. Its all about the litle details. By the way this no hate at all, i play ATS a Lot because it is the ONLY Trucking sim right now but its just worse to be alone on the Market. Hopefully WE get a second Truck-Sim so that SCS has to Shift some Gears up and do something to there Game. So we all can do more then Just driving in Circles with freaking outdated Trucks with Bad Sounds and worse FFB feeling. #HatersGonnaHateAndDon'tLikeCriticism

Even with new maps and beautiful scenery you can't open the door and get out of your truck like a driver always does, is that the awesomeness you're talking about??? The things SCS needs to focus on here are gameplay upgrades, things that make the player feel like a real driver, freely controlling his truck and living on his truck like Real long distance drivers. New maps and trucks keep coming but the gameplay doesn't change and players will get bored. alaskan roads truckers and snowrunner are doing a lot better than ets 2 in terms of gameplay. As for the car brand, I won't mention it because in this area SCS does better. But it sounds like shit 😏
